Funktion keys on Macbook Retina 2016 with touchbar

Hi,

has anyone a solution to switch on function keys on the touchbar?

I managed to enable them for the launcher but I cannot use the same technique to enable it for wine because wine is in a hidden path. (library is not displayed in the selection).

That's a good question, something I was wanting to know.

I would send a message to CCP Snorlax and try to get a response that way. I don't think CCP would even buy any of the developers a MacBook with touch bar so they can't do any test.

Hi,

yesterday i did a longer session with a friendly guy from apple support, he will ask the development about this and hopefully i get an answer for this.

we found a solution to "see" the wine application but the dialog dont like file type "unix application" atm.

if this is true i see some hope because this will not only affect eve/wine but also other unix type applications.

i will post if i got an answer.

maybe someone from ccp can ask somebody from wine develpment if they are aware of this.

This would require wine to provide touch bar functionality to the touchbar.

Unlikely to happen.

workaround

connect an external keyboard either USB or BT.

Same problem happens with bootcamp and windows.

I would not expect CCP to take action on this ever.

I am a miner, mission runner, and explorer...

or as EVE Online would have it...

I have a new Pro with the toucher, and the issue I am having is that the F4 function button doesn't work. I am hitting the "FN" key to activate the function keys. F1, F2, F3 and F5 work, but not F4.
