Please remove "View in Planet Mode" from the radial menu.

The 10 seconds it takes to load the planet view is more than enough time to get caught and killed if accidentally clicked. Having it moved away from the warp to icon on selected items window would be nice too.

Thanks.

People actually use the radial menu?

In all seriousness though, if you're in a situation where you're misclicking that badly then maybe you should consider using a different method of warping. Maybe keep a tab with oblrbital bodies on your overview so you can warp that way instead?

Misclicks happen, especially on 2k / 4k monitors. I love the radial menu but having the planet view button right next warp to button is the biggest flaw. It has been a problem for me a couple times and today actually got someone else in my fleet killed. Others have complained too. Removing it from the radial menu or simply move it away from the warp to button on the radial and selected items would be nice. I don't think I'm asking a lot and if it doesn't change no big deal, I'm just putting it out there as a suggestion and don't feel like debating it.

Thanks for your useless input though.

Just because you don't use this doesn't mean others don't

Considering that the Radial Menu is 10x superior to right click in space/in the overview -> move mouse to Planets/Gates/Stations -> Move mouse to preferred navigation option, I am surprised that you ask that question.

With regards to the suggestion: I don't see the point. You cannot dock in a planet nor can you jump through a planet to another system. The only thing you can do is warp to it. the Warp To option, however, is always in the slot left to the top and a competent player memorizes that automatic mouse movement very quickly. I cannot recall having missclicked the VIPM slot at all.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

I have several characters that are heavy into PI at the moment and I for one like the VIPM right where it is.
And since they put it there I have never had a single instance where I clicked it instead of the option I really wanted.
As mentioned above bookmarks, and an overview tab are the answers to "your" problem not a change to the game.

Ok, keep it in the radial menu but move it away from the warp to. Or even better yet, allow people to customize the selected items window and radial menu.

This really isn't a major problem and I'm sure there is more important things to add/ fix so I won't be upset if it stays the same. Overall I'm happy with the radial menu and I recommend that people try it if they haven't. Setting orbit and keep range on the fly without going through drop down menu is great, and warping around with one click is nice. But surely you guys can see how annoying it can be to attempt to warp off grid quickly to a planet at 100 (which means you drag the cursor far from the center of radial menu) but because you are a few degrees off you go into the planet view loading screen instead, for me it takes about 10 seconds to load that screen which in pvp is an eternity for someone to get a point on you. This is a rare mistake however, especially when I try to avoid warping off to planets if possible.

You might need to replace your keyboard, it's functionally identical to warping via radial menu or right-click dropdown menus
