Pretty sure you can ask to get the MCT if you added at least 3 months, someone on reddit had the same issue having re-subbed his account for one year the day before the offer. He submitted a ticket and got the mcts.

There's something like a 2-3 days of grace where you can ask to get it.

I made a year sub back in november (using the 99 dollar deal).

When I saw this I made another year sub for the same account.

It now shows me subbed through November of 2018 (2 years from initial sub) and I have 120 days MCT.

Well that's a bit stupid isn't it? Subscription renewals are on a fixed time basis. So you're actually penalising loyalty by disadvantaging those customers who select the longer subscription options. This is a very dumb move.

Offer expires 8 February 2017. Your purchase will add the purchased amount of time to your account, and your account will be credited with the appropriate amount of Multiple Character Training for ONE additional character on the account the time is purchased for.

Example: I have 2 months of paid subscription time on my account. I pay to add 6 months of game time to my account with this promotion. I will not have a total of 8 months of paid subscription on my account. I also receive 60 days' worth of Multiple Character Training that I can apply to the training queue for another character on this account.

Source: I took advantage of the similar deal they offered last year, giving free MCT time with purchase of subscription time. Can confirm the purchased subscription time simply adds to what you've already paid for if you have an existing active subscription. MCT time is activated when you start a second character's training queue.

EDIT: If you have already have a recurring subscription, you will not be charged the recurring amount again until all purchased time runs out. In the above example, if I have a 3-month recurring subscription charge, the next 3-month payment will not be charged until my 8 months of subscription time ends.

Advance notice of the offer might have been good, cos I think a substantial amount of players might have saved up/waited a bit and then subbed for bigger packages than they usually would have.

I usually sub through ingame PLEX. Had I known about this excellent 12month package with 120days of MCT a few weeks in advance, I would have budgeted accordingly and dropped all that cash on CCP. The deal is that sweet.

As it is however, Ive already allocated my expendable income to other things, and will continue to sub with ingame PLEX.

Open a support ticket for one or two days CCP are often very helpful in such matters.

As someone with three accounts on yearly subscriptions, this is annoying. Ima end up with 3 years pre-paid just to gain MCT promotion.

CCP, would you guys ever reward those on yearly subscriptions with an option or 2 that only us can get for the outlay?

It is disquieting that these offers, which apply to multi-month subscriptions do not automatically get credited to accounts which ALREADY have recurring subscriptions of certain ( 6 months in my case) lengths.

So, for those of use who are already paying for multiple month subscriptions, how to we claim this?

I have one account that just re-subbed ( 6 months) automatically 3 weeks ago, so where's my MCT credit?


On a side note, if CCP wants to prevent a lot of confusion about the details of HOW this offer (or similar ones) work, they should spell it out in detail. An ounce of prevention and all that, ya know?

If the plan is supposed to encourage existing paying customers to earn the reward by buying EXTRA time to add onto their existing subscriptions, state that clearly so we understand that is what you are offering and how it is supposed to work for those of us with existing automatic renewing subs.

When you purchased your sub, this offer was not available, and hence not included.

If you purchase a +3month sub now during this offer, you will receive the MCT according to the offer.

AFAIK, if your sub renews during this offer period, for atleast a 3 month package, that should include the MCT.

It was clearly displayed when you bought sub time before the offer, that no MCT was included, on the option screen.
Likewise, if you purchase sub time now, it is clearly listed in the sub options that they include MCT.

If your 3+month automatic payment does not renew during this offer, you will not get MCT.
If you wish to get the MCT, you must purchase the package now, during this offer.

Your automatic sub of 3+ months only causes an automatic purchase of an additional +3month sub package ONCE THE PREVIOUS PURCHASE EXPIRES..
Not before, or after.
If it does not renew during the period of this offer, you are not eligible for the offer, because you did not purchase +3months during the offer.

If you are automatically renewing a 1month sub, you are not eligible for MCT.
The MCT does not apply to a 1month sub, before or now.

This is not rocket science.
There is nothing unclear about it.
All the information is there.

TLDR: If you do not deposit the cost of a +3month sub to CCP during the duration of this offer, you will not be eligible for this offer. If your existing 3+month sub happens to automatically renew during this offers duration, afaik, you should receive the MCT. If it doesnt, you dont, because no payment was made to CCP during this offer period.

The offer only applies to purchases made during the duration of the offer.
For example: If you bought a 12month sub 6months ago, you are not eligible.
The offer did not exist at your time of purchase.
It was not part of the deal, equity or terms and conditions of the contract of purchase/sale at the time CCP and you completed it.

You can however simply purchase +3months now during this offer, instead of waiting for your current sub cycle to expire, which will then be added to your total bought account time, and afaik, activate the packaged MCT immediately for use.
