Cloak Field Module for Command Class Ships and Nestor

When active, this module cloaks ALL ships (player and NPC, excluding CONCORD) within a 15km range. Effect applies to anyone (friend or foe) that flies within range of ship while module is active.

Module lasts a maximum of 6 minutes with a cooldown of 4 minutes (other ship bonuses may apply). Player is locked in place for duration of both cloak and cooldown. Pilot retains use of weapons during cooldown (not during cloak), however the cloak field ship may not move or warp off during either phase.

The cloak field ship and any other ship inside field range are immune from decloak by proximity or bumping. Ships receiving cloak move at -20% normal speed and may move around in range of cloak field ship, however they cannot warp off while receiving cloak. They must burn out of range in order to warp. Players receiving cloak cannot activate their weapons, prop mods, or their own personal cloaks while inside the field.

Ships with target lock do not receive cloak.

Use 2 nestors side by side and you are perma cloaked with a minimum of coordination.
They should have a targeting delay after decloak. Otherwise this would be a gate camp module

I'm not trolling, I create content for everyone to enjoy. afk cloaky in a system near you while posting in this forum.

Would you rather people be able to warp out freely? I'd imagine that'd have deeper balance issues.

As for being an interdiction cloak bubble, you can't see people that travel into the bubble nor decloak them, friend or foe. Someone caught in the cloak field has the option to burn out or wait out the module cycle and warp out then.

Also HICs aren't locked in place for a cooldown period that leaves them open to being dscaned down.

Targeting delay is fine. I'd also include being unable to give cloak to any command ship with a cloak field cooldown timer active.

So I can just force a cloak on the entire enemy fleet, and make them ALL stop shooting, drop all locks, prevent warp, and slow them down?

It's an infinite strength ECM burst, with bonus HIC bubble.

Why bother with the entire enemy fleet? Do it to half the enemy fleet, or their logi wing.

I'm going to build a big wall that will keep the Gallente out, and they're going to pay for it!

Yes, because what we need is the ability to hide anything, regardless of fit, and with very little downside on-grid at the cost of one module on one ship... just no. This is an amazingly poorly thought out idea.

About the time I think i have seen the worst possible ideas posted..............

-1 we have enough problems with the anti cloaking crowd as it is now, I do not even want to think what they would say if you could cloak an entire fleet like this.

If you want to cloak your fleet, fit them with cloaks.

If you want to cloak the enemy fleet, blap them off the grid.
