Mass Test on Duality: Thursday, 2nd February @ 17:00 UTC

Hello Capsuleers!
We are planning a mass test on Duality on Thursday, February 2nd, at 17:00 UTC (= EVE time)!


What exactly is being tested?

The initial iteration of the new Post Processing system with tone mapping and dynamic exposure control.

This test is occuring on Duality because we would like to gather player feedback for adjustments to be made prior to a widespread release on Singularity later this month.


How to connect to Duality for this test:

Change the server from Tranquility to Duality in the upper left corner of the new launcher and log in as normal. More detailed instructions are available here.


Test steps:
1. Meet in FD-MLJ, at the gate to X-BV98
2. Fleet W: Deactivate Post Processing in the ESC Menu
3. Fleet X: Set Post Processing to High or Low in the ESC Menu (requires DX11).
4. Jump to X-BV98
5. Warp to the sun.
6. Look at the sun, then look away. Observe on screen changes.
7. Look away from the sun, then look at the sun. Observe screen changes.
8. Fleet W: Jump to Poitot + setup gate camp.
9. Fleet X: Jump to Poitot + fight at the gate


What else should I know?

Use the command /moveme to be moved to the start system FD-MLJ
2M Skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test
Bring anything you like to the test (preferably something with weapons!)

When will the server be open?

It will be nice if we have several hours to prepare our character, considering we have no idea the condition of our character when it was synced into Duality.

Does it use the same mirror as Sisi? Or is it the older one?

I tried hopping on, it bucked me offCry
"The cluster is currently not accepting connections"

P.S.
After clicking the button to close that message and Hitting connect, I get the message,
"The authentication token provided by the launcher is of an invalid format. ..."

Could it be because I am an alpha clone?

I like new look.

Can't travel to meeting point. Stargate says "Officials have closed the stargates in Ihakana due to heavy congestion. Travelers are advised to seek alternate routes."

same and I came home from work early for this Sad

30 minutes of it either saying its a stuck system and pick another stuck system or just an ok/cancel dialogue about it being unloaded
