Lost all my materials!! WWaaahhh Oops

I was tinkering, just seeing how many runs I could do, and accidentally started it, and canceled it before I realized it.

At least my tears can help the Noobies.

The materials are used when the job starts so they are automatically gone when you hit the start button

Yup, canceling any job will lose all input materials and get you no results, no matter whether you cancel it at the start or a second before the end.

If that had been a BPC you were using, you'd also have had the runs removed from it as if the job had completed.

You need to confirm the cancellation. Wait until you miss a decimal point when placing a market order - that can be a rough (not to mention expensive) 5 minutes!

I'm not saying that anything will come from it but you could always try to open a support ticket and explain what happened and see if the mighty GMs can help.

I thought about crying on their shoulder too, but figured they couldn't do anything. It is an in-game mechanic and I don't know how much they could retract on it.

I guess the worse they can do is say no. Thanks I will try
