All in all Mittani is a problem for CCP. Having “open to fraud, stealing an grefing” policy was good for EVE sandbox when it was done by relatively independent groups and individuals. But with Mittani's increasing influence and organisational capabilities promoting such activities it reaches levels when it becomes more then just a game feature but actual problem for recruiting new or holding on to old players. Thus he becomes actual problem for CCP and it's bottom line.

As thing are standing now Mittani did not openly do or say anything that is in conflict with EULA (anyhow if he did something that conflicts with it CCP does not know about it so it is irrelevant) so he can continue his his work in EVE and CSM as long as he likes regardless of what we say or do.

But we should note that recently we had some changes in EVE rules protecting new players and carebears, those changes were undoubtedly provoked by CFC high sec ganking and recruitment frauds, and were I no way promoted by CSM. More of those are likely to come. In the end Mittens greatest “contribution” to EVE might end up being more restricted sandbox and more irrelevant CSM as CCP has to protect it's bottom line from the likes of him.

So in short, he's done nothing wrong, but he has to go because you just don't like him?

First of all I am no Mittens fan. Far from that.

But he was elected into the current position and as such he can't and shouldn't be removed just because he isn't the representative you want.
As long as he doesn't break any of the rules that would get him legally removed or quits by himself he can and will serve out his term(s).

Only way to get him into a position he doesn't want to be is by doing a better job to get more votes for someone else to represent.

Like I stated many times before and will always state in the future.

As long as the socalled pure hi sec dwellers can't unite themselves behind ONE candidate and actually take the effort to vote for that candidate you can't really claim anything.
It's the sheer power of numbers that decide the distribution of chairs in the CSM.

One of the advantages that the null sec entities have is that they are somewhat forced to interact within a certain group a lot more whereas hi sec doesn't have that cohersion.

So don't blame Mittens for being chairman but blame those who had the option to vote and didn't

Can you imagine LoTR without Sauron and his orcs? No.
Eve is the same. You can no longer imagine eve without Goons and our morally bankrupt leaders.
So stop whining and go kill us, and be a hero, or whatever. Isnt that what this game is about? But for **** sake, stop whining and bitching on forums. Its getting boring.

Well it's hardly "democracy" when the rabble can vote for people I dislike with no restrictions whatsoever, now is it? If some kind of structure isn't put in place to prevent the wrong people for voting for the wrong candidate then the mob will just end up voting for whoever they want!

Now we just need to figure out who the landed gentry is in eve and let them cast votes on behalf of the peasants and merchants in their county.

As Malcanis is saying you basically don't like him??

Personally I neither like or dislike Mitts I've never met the bloke, talked to him face to face, gone for a beer etc etc, A lot of people make assumptions bascially from reading what usually appears on these forums as:

1: Complete Bullocks
2:Lies
3: Sheet they heard from a friend of a friend.
4: Mitts own forums posts where it's so bloody obvious he either trying to get your hackles up or is showing a complete
lack of indifference to your posts you don't like it because yes your views are that important how dare he ignore them.

He might be a complete tool or he maybe a complete top chap who knows, I don't . At worst I can call him a bit geeky but that's it. (Mitt's usual forum protection squad, before you start saying how dare I accuse Mitt's of being geeky, just think about it)

You don't like his views or you don't like his ideas, easy way to change it, spend the obviously insane amount of time he has creating a big alliance get them to vote you on the CSM etc etc

No I don't particulary like the influence he may or may not have or should I say I percieve him to have but as I'm not going for CSM or the leader of a large alliance I either put up or shut up as you should do.

Someone just make a billboard out of Gandry's post, make sure everyone sees it, and be done with this.

It doesn't matter, at all, what I may think of Mitt's behaviour...so long as his actions in-game are not against the rules and he doesn't try to leverage his position out of the game as a CSM (chair or otherwise) to get preferential treatment in the game as Boss Goon.

If you want different representation then organize, campaign, and vote...make it happen. If not, hell I don't know, stfu?

If you don't vote, you lose your right to *****.

If you are not willing to put in the time and effort to identify, campaign for, and vote for a candidate who represents you then I guess it really doesn't matter all that much to you anyway.

If your views are so in the minority that you lack the support to change the way things are, then lobby for change or deal with the current state of affairs.

Everything to do with the CSM is a joke.

Rigged elections, not by CCP, but by the corporations and alliances they are in.

Have you ever talked to them? When they was running around "vote for me! vote for me!" I mailed them, asked them some questions, they replied sucking butt. Then when enough time passed, and they thought they had my votes, in a nutshell they sent hate mail. Lieing and sucking butt to get votes, then "screw you, you suck" afterwards.

I still have the mails from trebor daehdoow, and vile rat(goonswarm), kept them sense they was the worse 2 faced people I ran across during the elections.

CSM is a joke, they dont care one bit about the eve player, only how it will benefit themselves as CSM. They lie to your face and tell you one thing and do another. I am not talking about how they play the game, its who they are.

CSM is suppose to be the voice of the player, they are only voicing themselves and there interest. Useing their position to benefit themselves, their corporations, and alliances.

The entire CSM is as ******** as the DEV alliance, I mean BOB alliance useing their positions as DEVs to gain advantages.

Just get rid of the CSMs, they are a waste of time and money.
