why do you guys prefare living in wh space over null,
and vice versa.

I'm not trolling, I create content for everyone to enjoy. afk cloaky in a system near you while posting in this forum.

Two things, really.

First, null (or any part of k-space) gets pretty dull, pretty fast. Each day is much like any other, as you become familiar with your patch of space, and the people who live in it. Clearly, w-space is not like that. You have no idea, day to day, what connections you are going have, and what you will find there. That keeps things pretty fresh.

Second, exploring w-space chains is like... actually exploring! In most k-space systems, one look at local and one look at your d-scan will tell you 90% of what you want to know about the system. Without local, and because of the prevalence of cloaky ships, it actually takes time to get to know a w-space system. And because that cuts both ways, you can often take advantage of situations that would never happen in k-space, where your presence in local causes everyone to dock up.

There's a thread in the sell orders section of a group renting out null systems. It's several bill a month, they keep the good moons, you're not allowed to anchor anything other than an Astrahus, there's a 3% tax they take on indie citadels and the POCOs are 10% taxed. Basically, the big groups own null and can crap all over the little guys.

No one owns w-space. You can roam around, find a nice quiet little system, take it over and make it your own. You wanna build a super in a C1 and WTF Ownz the rat spawns? Go for it man, no one is there to say no. Don't like the tax on the POCOs? Bash em and replace with your own. It's not like the previous owner can do anything about it.

There are large groups that can swing by and wipe the floor of the little guys, but this actually takes some work and camping a single WH for days carries some pain for them. And even if they do blow up all your stuff, it's not like they can stick around and lay claim to the system.

So much this. WH space is like being a browncoat in the firefly universe... Shiny.

er, except CCP have always said NO to supers in j-space. Only caps and smaller are allowed in j-space.

Evictions are relatively common. If you can gather enough PvP'ers (yes, you can hire mercs too) to outshoot the corp that currently reside in a system that you desire - you can take the juicy system for yourself. Twisted

Your corp will just need to be able to defend it afterwards.

Our politics are bullets. Your enemy today may be your friend tomorrow. Highest risk/reward in Eve. No isk faucet, er, it's all loot; no magic space payments. W-Space is a completely different game than K-Space it seems. Your neighbors yesterday may be your neighbors tomorrow, next week, or a year from now.

  • No local.
  • No gates.
  • No NPC stations.
  • No medical clones.
  • No supers.
  • No blobs of several thousand people.

It's just you, your mates, against the world. You might shoot someone today, fly with them tomorrow, and soot them next Wednesday.

Blue loot is an isk Faucet , the only difference is that you have to sell it first (to NPC hence faucet)

The unknown is what makes WH space good, every fight a victory, every isk earned a triumph.

If you get popped on way to hs to sell though you get no isk. I see your point about it being guaranteed isk though. Just wanted to point out there are occasions when some people lose out due to pvp on way to market.

yeah but that applies everywhere, i could be flying just in HS and get blown to the next system.

Your statement is almost a marketing slogan for EVE.

EVE...because maybe u lose your stuff or your are taking someone elses, either way it's balls of fun....

PVP is a key piece of life in eve, either you accept that or you never undock
