While you are fighting for the freedom and liberty, don't forget to check whose assets you are defending in those plexes, broaden your perspective so to say.

They may belong to the enemy, but they belong to us when we're defending them. I could make some arguement about the mindset of holding on to what isn't yours and your light you seem to all envelop yourselves in but lets be honest, do you really want to have that tired arguement again? I don't...

If I'm not fighting for an ideology, I don't need to worry about it being the wrong ideology.

We are not fighting for the ideology either. Well, some of us do, but I believe that killing someone because of their ideas is just wrong.

And here, in the State, we don't fight against Gallente ideas and ideology, though we consider that blocking its access to our space is good.

We are fighting against gallente agressors and invaders. We are fighting against those, who bombarded our homeworld. We are fighting against those, who rammed our peaceful stations with supercarriers. We are fighting against those, who were calling to 'Exterminate all Caldari', against those, who were burning down our archaelogical and historical sites, against those, who were genociding colonists in Black Rise, against those, who attacked our titan and forced it to fall on our homeworld, we are fighting against those, who torture prisoners of wars by inhumane methods the same time as we speak!

No. We don't fight for the ideology. We fight to save our people, to save our corporations and assets from agressors and murderous monsters.

We fight for survival.

Honored are the dead, for their legacy guides us.

In memory of Tibus Heth, Caldari State Executor YC110-115, Hero and Patriot.

Slogan about "we are fighting for the freedom and liberty" when you are defending assets of those who are involved in human trafficking kinda falls apart, don't you think? Cherry on top when you say "but they belong to us", they absolutely do it's almost impossible to counter-argue this by now.

There is no argument, I agree with you.

Didnt say they belonged to us, just that they dont belong to you. Though i am curious who your referring to with regards to human trafficking. Highly doubt it would go on of under our control, if its who I'm thinking but then again I can't say with absolute certainty.

Ms. Kim, (my apologies for not knowing your rank) allow me to perhaps talk a bit more seriously than I usually do.

I owe a debt to the State that I doubt I'll be repaying any time soon. The navy not only got me flying, but was keeping me, my family and my friends safe long before I first got plugged into a capsule. Hell, you guys are still doing that for everyone besides me. I saw the attacks on the news back when they happened. So believe me, I understand why you fight. I do.

Its just... I don't know. I don't know why I can't bring myself to fight for that. Maybe...

Maybe the stakes just felt too high. Sure, out here in NullSec, there's death. A lot of death. But its not like anyone ever comes out here not knowing the risks in being ruled over by psychopaths who kill and get killed for fun. A NullSeccer has known and accepted the risks ahead of time before boarding their flight. But in empire space? In the State? There are actually people who just want to be left alone to live their lives. People like the ones I grew up alongside. The people who raised me. Any deaths they suffer from the Gallente are in some way my fault for not preventing them. If I was in the militia, I'd be reminded of that daily, and I'd just end up throwing myself into the biomass grinder.

Out here in Horde, at least I can try to ignore and forget all of that, and just focus on the nonsense of capsuleer politics.

Hmm. Maybe I'm just a coward. Now isn't that a fun thought for when I go to bed tonight.

I barely have the ISK to keep myself flying. I'm a terrible pilot. I'm an even worse businesswoman. I'm not even sure what half my ship's controls are for. But in some small way, I'm helping. And I couldn't be happier.

Sorry, what didn't you say again?

To sate your curiosity: first undock, then warp to a complex that you supposed to defend with Republic vessels stationed there, look at the outpost identification markings. You know I could be wrong on this, so while you are at it make a few screenshots with your camera drone zoomed in on the outpost from different perspectives. You can post those screenshots here if you want, shouldn't be against IGS rules as far as I know. Ou, and don't forget to take note under whose control the outpost goes, just to clear any doubts.
