A couple of weeks into my research I was told that we have rigs for logi - awesome stuff.

BUT, curious that I am, I found out that the only rig in the game is for armor reps and the penalty to putting one on hurts your speed of all things.

What I propose are the same rigs for shield and energy transfers:

Engineering rig:

S, M, L, C remote energy transmission augmentor I and II and only one of them can be fit on one ship and my not be paired with a remote armor or shield rig


Shield rig:

S, M, L, C remote shield emission augmentor I and II and the cost of shield hp instead of the signature radius penalty and only one of them can be fit on one ship.


And last, the remote armor repair augmentor gets the powergrid penalty instead of the speed one.

While I think it's pretty reasonable to get a cap use rig for Shield and Energy Transfer modules the speed penalty for armor rigs and sig radius for shield is pretty universal and reasonable.

These are pretty powerful rigs and the ships that might want to fit them generally have the affected modules as their primary source of cap use. That makes these effectively massive bonuses to cap on these ships, so a penalty to their ability to soak damage is quite a reasonable trade off, and certainly doesn't stop Oneiros pilots from fitting the Armor rigs.

On top of that the ships using these rigs are generally a very tight fit to start, so the PG penalty on an Armor rig would break many existing fits for no reason.

No reason to prevent ET rigs from being paired with the others, the ET rigs aren't nearly as powerful as the Shield or Armor ones and the T2 Logi ships that will probably be looking to fit them only have two rig slots to start with, one of which is generally taken by a PG rig.

Capitals might be a concern except FAX can't Triage and receive remote cap, so the concern there is mostly moot as well.

Oh okay, I wasn't sure if the Gallente and barbarien FAX wouldn't become too strong with those.
