Just a couple of requests to really round this amazing feature up:

  • Please add "View market info" to the right click menu for simulated modules.
  • Please add mining yield somewhere.
  • Please add the effects of your own command bursts to the statistics when active. Or, even better, allow us to set external effects to simulate.

tl;dr (all of the discussion, sry for any repeating stuff - maybe)

dronestats are still horrible (correct me if i am wrong). e.g. drone HP are not calculated correctly (if at all, not sure tho). its a bit sad that i still have to undock and test the drones to see how many shield/armor/structure they have or throw the ship in eft to see correct stats.

also active modules such as the industrial core on the rorqual seem not to fully apply their bonuses to e.g. the excavator drones mining output, when tested in the simulation mode

m³/minute mined would be another nice option in the window

the simulation misses also that implant-simulation. it is always using the current implants - which confuses people a lot.

edit: + show burst charge strength based on skills and implants

i am aware that most of the stuff i mentioned is something we are blessed with in eft and other fitting tools, but i think if something like the simulation mode is added, it should be done in a whole.

Thanks for the feature CPP, but I noticed that several important attributes are not being displayed yet.

* Mining Yield (Strip Miner, Ice Harverts and Mining Lasers) (m³/h)
* Missing skills (for whole fit simulation)
* Missing skills points (show total training time of missing skills)
* DPS Graphs
* EHP (Effect Hit Points by damage profiles) (Uniform, EM, Thermal, Kinetic, Factions, Charges, etc...)
* Shield Boosts/Armor repairs influenced by resistence
* Wormhole effects (Black hole, Wolf Rayet, Pulsar, etc.)
* Fleet boosts (and warfare/mining foreman links)
* Implants
* Boosters
* Propagate T2/Faction icons to fitting simulation bars (Improves the identification of the modules, I have to place the mouse on top to identify them)
* Overwrite saved fitting instead to try duplicate them (While editing a fitting there is no overwrite option)
* Skill sets simulation (manage skill profiles)
* List all modifiers (and your source) in that module/ship/drone

I hope I have helped

My feedback:
- I very often want to: open fit, edit it, save it. It's quite annoying that there's Save As and not Save.
- I keep wanting to make the window taller so I can see more of the module menu.
- Speed should be formatted with a comma, e..g 1,500 rather than 1500
- Mining yield missing
- Rep amount should take resists into account

Trying out the ghost fitting window, after subscribing and not playing for a year. Yup I support the game

It was annoying to have to buy a hull, assemble it, then press fit to ship, to buy the stuff, then reload the layout to press fit to ship again for everything to work.

I would love to have - oh here is my fitting - Build be a ship so I can start flying it.

Someday I will have the time to play. For now it is mining afk in High sec. In Cheap ships

Sorry if I'm missing something here, but it would be nice if I could open a ghost fitting window on any ship. Not just the ones I own.

My List of "Little Things" on the Fitting Simulator, if something i list here has bee suggested already, see that as a confirmation that it needs to be done.
Please...
- add simulation of different effects (implant effects, wormhole effects, spatial generator effects, command burst effects (with and without mindlinks)
- merge charges and items into one category, how it it is now, is quite irritating. (So there are only Ships and Items)
- add Mining yield, it is missing i guess
- add a button to only show modules and ships present in the market of you current station/system/constellation/region.
- add a faeture to consider resistances for the tank with a possibility to adjust incoming damage by types in percentage (55% kin, 45% therm for example)

I'd like to have the option to 'view market details' when browsing through mods and ships. Right now i only have 'buy this type'

There a spanner on the left, then tabs for player and corp fittings. If you deselect both you can ghost fit for any ship.

Please move "simulate ship' to the bottom on transactions' RMB context menu. Currently it:

- ruined over decade of muscle memory
- what's worse: simulate ship shows up only for ships

So please move it somewhere lower. It's not important functionality in context of character/corporation transaction history.

Some of my fits have accompanying implants.

I tried to search for implants to add them to the fit's cargo.

But I can't find an implant to be able to add it to cargo.

I figured it would be better to post about the fitting window here rather than start a new thread. I hope this thread is still being watched.

A major missing feature set on the current fitting simulation tool is a way to adjust the skill profile.

The "all skills 5" profile is a massively useful part of most standard fitting tools. It helps me compare ships I can't currently fly, or can't fly well. This is useful for making decisions about what to train for next, or to help build fits for other people.

The other kind of standard skill profiles that would be awesome to see would be the maxed alpha clone for each race.

You could also allow some sort of permission or access system for being able to easily share skill info between players. This could help me build fits specifically for other people; especially useful for helping out new pilots.

There is, in fact another thread someone made with more or less exactly this suggestion. I'll repeat in brief what I said over there. The in-game fitting tool is leveraging the existing skills system. From what CCP have told us about how those systems interact it would likely be a lot of additional work to plug in a different skills system to the ship simulation.

Besides that CCP have repeatedly stated that while feature parity with third party tools would be nice it's not their goal and in most cases it's not worth the time that would require.
