Strange behavior with EC anchoring on the new mirror

I deployed a Sotiyo last night, and was surprised that after I anchored it, it instantly appeared to be fully constructed/anchored (it didn't have the 'ghost' look or the anchoring timer that I recall seeing when I tried this last mirror).

The bizarre thing is, it won't let me dock (request denied), and the structure doesn't show up in my "structures I own" tab. I'll hop back on tonight after it's been 24 hours and see if anything's different.

My suspicion is that it's actually anchoring, but there are some display issues. I'd be curious if anyone else has seen this, or has an explanation.

i was trying to deploy a raitaru this morning, but wa snot able to complete it.
i had a red ghost and the position button was greyed out...EC not in a valid position.

was more than 1k away from anything...still no joy...will look into it later when back home from work

You also need to be more quite some distance away from your own ship, that could've been the culprit. That said, I have (months ago) run into being unable to anchor anything on a specific grid for no discernible reason until the server was restarted, so I wouldn't rule out a problem.

Check that you weren't too close to a planet or moon, I've had this happen to me where I was definitely not near any other structures, but I was slightly too close to the planet I was trying to anchor near.

Had exactly the same anchored intstantly no access not in de structure browser

I think I figured out what happened. I didn't have any "Profiles" set up when I anchored the structure, and I believe this has put it into this invalid/inaccessible state.

I anchored another EC last night, and this time I got the 'ghost' outline, and the anchoring timer. My guess is that the first Sotiyo I deployed is lost forever. I'm glad this was only on the test server.

then that is def a bug as it should not let you place it at all w/o a profile

Yeah, i've got the same issue. Launched for Corp and it instantly appeared as constructed, won't let me dock, set a profile or even transfer ownership. It's just there.

Since this one profile i've been able to anchor the other stuff without issue and adjust profiles and names and what not without issues anymore

Forgot to add it shows up as In Space Assets but shows no corporation owns it in the show info, however the other citadel and Engineering Complex i anchored will show corporation as the one that owns it.

retried the anchoring and it worked fine now.
the engineering complexes should come out of anchoring cycle later today.

So for anyone interested:

I went to my broken Sotiyo and took a shot at it to see what would happen. It took damage. So for giggles, I rounded up a couple friends, and we shot at it for a while with a couple dreads and battleships.

It took a while, but we blew it up. No reinforcement timers, no vulnerability periods. It was for all intents and purposes, just like shooting an offline POS.

I've tried a couple more times to reproduce the issue, on another character, but I can't get it to happen again.
