How do you appraise researched BPO's, besides just looking through contracts?

I eyeball them based upon NPC cost, research days required, present demand for the product and profitability of production, and market expections for research levels (e.g. people will expect ME 10 on cruiser BPOs, but do not expect ME 9 on capital module BPOs, despite both requiring about the same research time).

I will not pay a premium for overresearched prints (e.g. a cruiser BPO that is at 10/20 is basically no better than one at 10/18 but takes ~35% longer to research) but I will try to sell them for a premium.
