If you're looking for something "different", look no further! I thought this would be a good place an 'off-the-wall' Polarized Machariel fit that I run for sh*ts and giggles. Feel free to share your own...

A bit of Deadspace bling - but not too terribly much (can be further enhanced with Faction modules; Faction damage and sensor modules are quite reasonable). 781M ISK total cost (including hull) at the time of posting. With V skills, +6 implants, drones and Faction projectile ammunition it delivers 1715 DPS (1935 DPS overheated). It jumps to an outrageous 1885 DPS with Hail L (2131 DPS overheated). This is basically carrier-level damage... One of the insane features with this fit is a cycle time of just over 2 seconds and an ammunition capacity of 360 rounds per gun!

With Genolution, Zor and warp implants it aligns in 6.81s with a warp speed of 4.49 AU/s - so there's certainly room to tweak this for faster travel with Ascendancies. It can lock 11 targets (as many as Marauders) in a Fraction of the time and the MWD takes it to 1867m/s velocity (more than enough to get around). Obviously this fit is more well-suited to blitzing but it's capable of clearing the majority of L4 missions. There are a few to avoid, namely Assault, Worlds Collide and anything else Gurista-related because it just doesn't have enough of a sustained tank (scourge missiles are the bane of this fit).

There is only one drawback with this fit, which is that it has a voracious appetite for ammunition - which makes it a tad more expensive to operate. However, the satisfaction of insta-blapping frigates, destroyers and cruisers as well as obliterating most battleships in under 15 seconds flat is totally worth the price of admission.

If you're willing to drop a few hundred million ISK on Faction damage modules and Augmented drones you can get this thing up to 2088 DPS (2360 DPS overheated). The performance out to 65km is just unreal and despite the complete lack of any tank it's surprising how much you don't need when you're volleying enemy NPCs off the field faster than you can lock them...

The second armor repairer is there to allow enough time to align out when you eventually screw up trying to push your luck with it. And you will, because it's hilariously overpowered! Can't wait for the new Machariel SKIN...

Here is a list of tested missions that you can run without issue utilizing this fit (either blitz or clear):

• Angel Extravaganza (Hail, Barrage)
• Anomaly 1-3 (Hail, RF EMP)
• Attack of the Drones (RF EMP; Watch triggers)
• Duo of Death (RF Titanium Sabot)
• Infiltrated Outposts (RF EMP, Barrage; Use Barrage against long-range frigates)
• Pirate Invasion (RF EMP; Don't stop moving, watch aggro - engage closest; warp out/return is possible)
• Stop the Thief (Barrage, RF Phased Plasma; Switch to Barrage for long-range targets)
• Unauthorized Military Presence (RF EMP; MJD may be more beneficial here; watch range)
• Zazzmatazz (RF Phased Plasma)

No, it's a shield-based fit equipped with an afterburner instead of a MWD. It doesn't have the same range (better tracking however) and appears to be primarily using Hail - so you're losing a lot of DPS maneuvering around to get into optmal firing range, I would've just stick with Barrage because you'd continually be applying DPS (even if it was a bit less) and it's good out to 79km.

The shield fit definitely has more tank and can run for a longer duration than my dual armor fit (although with Pith shield boosters and amplifiers this could run the entire cost of my fit alone). I'm assuming that the rigs might be capacitor-based because it seems to have a fairly decent recharge rate.

With the signal amplifier, auto targeting system and setting the number of targets back to the maximum limit it will typically lock all the targets for you without having to do anything (at least the threats red boxing you). You can also lock 11 targets insteadof the default of 7, and with the sensor booster you're locking them in less than 1/3 the normal time.
