Cant hear turret sounds

I cant hear them no matter how far I zoom in.

Also is there a way to hear then when you are zoomed out?

First, I would check your settings in the audio tab (press Esc and click on Audio) to make sure you don't have firing effects turned down for some reason. Assuming that's not the problem:

Can you fire your turrets in-game with your camera zoomed up close to your ship and then file a bug report from the in-game tool? Press F12 and click Report Bug.

Doing this will submit logs from your game client and it's possible they may offer some hints about what's going on. Also, if you state in your bug report specifics about what fit you're using when this happens, that may help us isolate any problems with specific weapons.
