I have the graphics on the low setting but my mac book pro keeps heating up quickly. Is there anyway I can run the game on my computer more efficiently?

I have the same issue. It also happens when I run Final Cut Pro.

I think the Mac Air, while it can run EVE, it doesn't like it. My fan starts running almost as soon as I log in.

I play mostly on my iMac, looks better, plays better...no fan noise.

Ah well, though I heard that it will work better if I install windows on the mac computer

Nope.

I have Parallels on my iMac, Eve barely runs. The mouse stutters across the screen. It's so annoying I never bothered with it.

I can play on my Air...just isn't as enjoyable as my iMac.
