Black holes

This game is pretty old, and I'm sure almost every feature being discussed on this forum right now has previously been discussed. So, with this idea, I'm sure it's been brought up before, but I want to talk about it again anyway. I remember my first time in EVE, I was flying a Rifter through lowsec in a system that was real red. I thought I saw something in the distant reaches of space that looked like a black hole, but I couldn't get there.

It got me thinking then, and I still wonder now, why doesn't EVE have black holes? No Man's Sky has black holes, but they did them wrong. Black holes are not wormholes (although, sometimes, in fiction, people bend the rules of space and make them wormholes, whatever). Elite Dangerous has black holes but last I checked they just kind of distort the environment until you clip through them and fly past (also a failure of accuracy). Star Citizen, as far as I can tell, doesn't even have a single semblance of any such cosmic entity.

So, CCP, why not be the first mega huge space game to actually have properly functioning black holes? Let noobs drift into one and watch some crazy effects and distortion as their ship is torn to shreds. Teach them a lesson. Make it something that is avoidable, but dangerous at the same time.

We are in space, after-all, and space has black holes and they usually aren't even completely stationary.

Make it something centered around the lore, make it harnessable by some technology that has to do with citadels or player-built stargates. Reward people for successfully discovering a new black hole and not getting destroyed by it. Have a player competition to discover them all and document their ongoing locations.

Anything.

Just put them in the game.

That is hardly what I'm suggesting, that's not even a feature lol I have seen these and they are nothing more than a backdrop

It is still a backdrop and it is not what I was suggesting. There are many forums for you to troll, you can choose another thread

"herp derp here's a backdrop with some adverse effects that is completely boring because i'm boring and new features make me mad"

Now that we have an astro physicist in our midst, please tell us more about the rules of the universe. No I am not trolling, I am genuine curious.
Last time I spoke with a professor at CalTec and another at MIT even they didn't quite know what a black hole was.

Theories vary and only one thing is accepted by everyone in the science community, they have lots of gravity and can be found everywhere.

Please let the girls and guys from JPL and Nasa know too, they don't really seem to.

Now I am dying to know what those rule are, elaborate.

What game play options does this bring?
And yes I really want to know.

The generally accepted theory is that anything that entered a worm hole would be ripped into individual atoms by the intense gravitational field, wondering how do you propose CCP implement this in game?
Does your character get eliminated from your account and you loose everything including ISK that they had scattered about EvE. OR is that a little too real for your taste, so they would simply wake up in a clone vat somewhere?

Last time I checked i could fly by space submarine right in the center of the sun.

How is this possible?
Even if i could resist the heat.
Wahts about the presure?

Could i fly two bc in it and fusion to a bs?

This game is clearly not realistic enough.111!!11!1!!!

I changed my mind, the new suggestion I'm bringing to CCP is to fix this ridiculous community of sociopathic trolls. Literally, if you have nothing of value to add you should go back to sitting in your station ship spinning.

Black hole =/= wormhole

What game play options does it bring? I don't know, did you read the post or did you look at the topic title and make a post with a bunch of things I already talked about? lol

But you don't?

You say it should blow up ships, and there should be a competition for finding new ones. Nothing else. What happens AFTER they've been found? What gameplay additions does this actually make?

The wormhole effects you dismiss as backdrop actually have gameplay effects. Your suggestion doesn't seem to.

After all you convinced me.
Im pro black hole now.
But I suggest that its transporting people from one system to a nother.
Much like wormholes do
But you have to build them and fuel them I order to work.
And instead of calling them black hole I would call them
POS player owned stargate.

Maybe even in deferent sizes so not every submarine could jump every gate.
And make them sov to denie excesses to everyone.

There is a blackhole in EVE. It's the Jita 4-4 market...

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Oh the usual, you must not have read my post because you do not like my idea, so typical, so trite.
The answer is yes I did read your post. Since you cannot remember what you wrote let me quote the specific section of your OP that I was responding to.

With it clearly established that you want black holes in this game that recreate in some fashion the realities of a real black hole I will simply copy and paste my questions here in hopes that you will be kind enough to answer them.

We have plenty of value to bring. It's just that based on your current suggestions, the only thing of value we can add is "Why?" Why does EvE need this? "It would be really cool" is insufficient justification.

I could see a lot content coming out of it.
Imagine a new profession actioners for all the assets left behind in jita and elsewhere.
Maybe even a tv show "jitas action hunters"
And the cheap knock of "rens action hunters"
