Are you casual players who have real-life responsibilities?

Do you play EVE for fun instead of being obsessed with advancing as quickly as possible?

Are you content to sometimes log on to just mine veldspar or fly to a system you have never seen before?

Are you a fan of the novels of Isaac Asimov, Frank Herbert, Jack McDevitt and Samuel R. Delany?

If so, maybe I could join you.

I started playing EVE in 2005 and stayed for a year or so. I recently returned to the game with an alpha account. My character is Minmatar. I may eventually upgrade to omega.

I would like to associate with mature adults in a low pressure corp environment. I don't need ships or blueprints. I have no interest in pvp fighting. I don't want to be in a corp where members feel a need to swear in chat. For me, EVE is a fun refuge from real life pressures. It's a sci-fi setting, so if your corp's name is in d00d speak and/or you have members named anything-Trump, I'm not interested.

Diversity is a good thing. Last night someone said in recruitment chat that "chicks don't play EVE." A dumb comment, I thought. It's that kind of attitude I want to stay away from. If your corp is diverse in RL, I might be interested. Maturity is really important--I'm in my late 50s.

Thanks for reading this.

Hey there!

Krypted Gaming is looking for quality, social pilots to join us on our space adventures. We are a community focused on quality over quantity, and look for pilots with great attitudes towards the game and fellow players. We live in the nullsec region of Deklein, and are proud members of SLYCE.

We aim to be,

  • Tight Knit
  • Highly active
  • Top Contributors in PvP & Industry
  • Knowledgable & Approachable

Whether you are a new player or veteran, we are looking for team players who want to contribute to a community. All of our members are active, decent human beings (except our corporate Grandpa, Helltrek) with lives outside of the game. Given that, we also have plenty of memes!

Come chat with us in our Discord!

Krypted Gaming is looking for quality members!

Thank you for considering me, but I think you did not actually read my post.

I have no interest at all in PVP fighting. None. I know it is a major focus of this game and a lot of players find it to be very enjoyable. More power to them. It's not for me.

I don't want to live in Null sec space. I'm not interested in "leveling up" so that I'm strong enough to fight fellow players and whatever else lives in Null sec space. And, I'm sorry to say, I cringe when I read expressions like "newbros" and "toon." That sounds like d00d speak, and when I hear d00d speak I run in the opposite direction as fast as I can. And anyway, I would hope not everyone who plays EVE is a "bro." Surely there are *some* women in this game.

This wasn't in my post, but just to be clear, I stutter and will therefore never, ever use something like TeamSpeak.

Again, thank you for your interest, but I'm just someone who wants to associate with other mature players in this science fiction game. I don't have any "goals" other than to have fun. I have a stressful real-life job, and have no intention of getting on another treadmill when I play a game.

I made the mistake of turning on the Recruitment Channel the other night, and the spamming and borderline racist conversation there was a real disappointment.
