Ice Mining Booster: Mining Foreman Mindlink or Yeti?

My alt is a sometimes Orca. sometimes Rorqual pilot specialized in ice mining. I'm primarily looking to maximize her ice harvesting drone's cycle time. I have a couple questions.

1) The Yeti IH-1005 implant gives a 5% decrease in ice harvester cycle time. Does this apply to ice harvester drones?

2) The Mining Foreman or ORE Mining Director Mindlink give bonuses to Mining Foreman Burst effect and strength. One of these is Mining Laser Optimization, which reduces cycle time of ice harvesters. Does this apply to ice harvester drones?

Both of these implants go in Slot 10, so I'm trying to understand if and how they apply to my ice harvesting drones so I can decide which one to inject.

No and no. So I guess save your money unless you plan to either directly mine ice (get the yeti) or boost others (get the mindlink).

Use a Shield Command Mindlink and shield bursts.
