My understanding is that the rules are as follows:

So no blingy fits. and no MJDs. Although not expressly mentioned, I'm assuming that this applies to MMJDs as well. Also, combatants are suposedly warping to a celestial at a range of their choosing, so close-range fits will be at a distinct disadvantage.

I've sent a fit and tactics to Max. I will not be sharing here because OpSec.

I think it's time for the Court of C&P to choose it's position. I trust Bronson's coaching. Let's assume our champion is set.

Now, the other matter:
The general discussion aristocrats fancy themselves our rivals.


I wonder if there would be value in compiling a list of these "knights of general discussion", and ensuring they are all wardecced before this little tournament?

Maybe we could field a few "code hooligans" into the crowd to pop any loudmouths who require extra attention?

I feel like Max has his fight... but this fight is ours.

CCP has a tradition of using Old Man's Star for shenanigans when the mood takes them, so I'm betting its gonna be there.

I came up with something very similar, but here's a few things:

Don't use Furies unless you've got a painter, rigor, or guidance comp. They'll do less damage to armor battleships because of their massive explosion radius.

Consider fitting a sensor booster or damps will hose you.

Speaking of damps, don't forget to pack FoFs. And maybe fit a damp of your own.

As Mike pointed out, no MJDs are allowed for this particular match. Since you don't need to close range to hit your target (and because Navy Scorps are slow AF), I'd swap it for an AB for damage reduction instead of an MWD.

This one will sound really weird and I'd pretty much never do it in an actual combat fit, but find a way to drop that CoProc for cargo expander. At the rate you'll potentially be guzzling 800s, you'll need the space. It'd suck to lose because you ran out of 800s.

I think the fit I sent Max (not a Navy Scorp BTW) would fare pretty well against this, but it'd be a long-ass fight.
