can't find my 250k bonus skillpoints

I created an alt for mining and used the "refer a friend" from my main but can't find the 250k bonus skillpoints. Am I missing the obvious or are you not supposed to get them if the referring account is your own?

You have to assign them to your character. When you log in to the game, before you click on one of your three pilots, look at the bottom of the screen, is there something that says 'redeem items'? Click on it, the injector should be there, drag it on the character you want to use it with.

Did you make your account through the referral-link you got from the recruit a friend -program?

Check after downtime, and if it still isn't in your redeem queue, then file a petition.

If you go to the eveonline website and log in with the refering player, on the top of the screen should be Recruit A Friend. If you click on it the second option should be past invites and it should say if you have any that are pending. If you scroll down the page, it should tell you the status of all invites.
