EVE New Citizens Q&A

I started out in EVE about three years ago (as Caldari) and only played for about six months. After returning, I joined a friend's corporation that is largely Gallente but more importantly, stationed in Gallente space.

That said, what options are available to me for efficiently (and possibly expeditiously) raising my standing with the Gallente Federation and other necessary NPC corporations?

I've spent the last two days grinding out career missions at the Federal Navy Academy and have done about a dozen L1 missions through Material Acquisition (only missions available to me) and yet, my corporate standing with the Gallente Federation is seemingly stuck at -0.68.

I should note that I've trained both Diplomacy and Connections to level 1 (just a few minutes ago so I've yet to test their impact).

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

(Re)do the SoE epic arc, which can be repeated every 3 months. You get a substantial standings increase with the faction that you ally with at the end, IIRC it doesn't impact any other faction standings negatively.

You could also run the full gamut of tutorials, there's four sets of agents per faction and they all give a standings boost.
