that big square structure on top of the Talwar......it looks out of place and (for me) ruins the look of the ship.
i realise its a big ask,but.....can we make it go away? move the windows to between the booms and it'll look much better.

I'll be blunt, this is amazingly unrealistic and selfish.

You're asking for CCP to change something based on your personal aesthetic preferences. The only people who get to do that are the artists at CCP and even then they're working collaboratively.

I'm sure some people agree with you, I'm sure some people disagree quite vehemently. Asking CCP to tweak things because you personally think it's ugly is just... what?

If players stopped complaining about how it's sacrilege to touch any of the original designs I suspect we'd see more redesigns like the Typhoon and Dominix.

The Dominix already got a model update but the general look of the ship, one of the more iconic for Eve players, was preserved. That's a pretty steady trend that we've seen with the hull updates, especially for older designs, the general feel of the ship stays the same but gets updated to better match the faction aesthetic and current tech.

Anything beyond that (and even some stuff within that) is all down to personal preference. You may not like the Typhoon or Dominix but some people do and some others would certainly hate what you like.

They also had a turkey holding a suitcase.

And most of the beautiful unique ships looked like a brick rolled through a pile of antennae. Sometimes hit with a hammer afterwards.

IIRC, the talwar's general shape was modeled on WWI tanks, which actually did have somewhat boxy turrets. So it actually fits the look CCP wanted for the ship.

The fact that you find it ugly really doesn't matter all that much to anyone but you.

Eve is like an addiction; you can't quit it until it quits you. Also, iderno

OP my suggestion is that you change your point of view. Instead of judging a ship for how it looks, judge it for how it performs the tasks you ask of it. Do this and all ships in EvE or both ugly beyond belief or the most beautiful thing in the game.

There now that we have solved your problem with the Talwar we can get on to something that is important.

Just view it from the bottom. Then you don't have to look at the square bridge on top...
