Good day forums!

I have a question about the 'Opportunity' tutorial. I have been offline for a couple of years, and when i logged back on into my old character i got a fresh tutorial, which is nice. The thing is that it is stuck at 'orbit enemy npc and kill it' and i cannot find the NPC the tutorial wants me to kill. Got any suggestions ?

You could file a support ticket to see if a GM will reset it for you.

Although I would just close the opportunities window, disable the notifications for it and remove it from the neocom side bar. Then forget it ever exsisted.

Same situation. I created this account like a decade ago and only played a few months before life got in the way. Recently re-joined and I had the same problem, but was eventually able to travel to the correct location.

Then I got stuck again because my ship had 2 mining lasers mounted and no weaponry whatsoever so I could not complete the mission, but I couldn't go home to refit my ship because of the warp bubble. I tried flying out of the bubble-- but even still whilst the quest was active I couldn't warp, and traveling 30+ AU back to the gate at 300+ m/s was going to take a billion years, so I just cancelled the tutorial.

What often happens is people kill the 2 Drifters that appear because they show up before what'is'name finishes talking, and then Aura gets stuck waiting for you to kill 2 Drifters that are already dead.

You can reset the tutorial yourself, and start that section over again, with 2 more Drifters appearing, if you click the little ? by the Operations Info Panel (?) header on the left side of your screen.

And for future reference, the EVE interface is subtleannoying in this particular regard: the "more options" buttons are tiny sprockets or ?'s hidden in the corners of various windows, with no tutorial or guide telling you that they're there.
