Well, there are more factors to it. So it's not so much give = good... take = bad. But let's just play along and say that killing the T1 frigate was bad human intentions, what does it have to do with Lulu wanting to give the poor bastard a new ship based only on her good spirited nature and willingness to help a fellow capsuleer in need?
