In seriousness though a t1 frig is pretty cheap, and you could earn back that 500k isk likely from a single site. Doesn't take away the pain of losing a ship through a DC but CCP are occasionally helpful with those types of problem. For 500k though I would just get back out there and earn it back.

Though, in attempting to address your concerns, you took an exploration ship into a WH without a cloaking device. You should expect to loose it. An exploration ship is going to come out second best to pretty much anything you meet. So you need to avoid any and all encounters. Without a cloak this will be damned hard, but, it can be done.

First off you need to learn some basic survival tools. Such as knowing how to navigate, evade, d-scan, and find safe spots. You also need to maximise the potential of your ship by having it fully fitted. Yes, you don't have a cloak, but, as long as you are not on grid with anyone the only way to get killed is if someone scans you down with probes. If you fit a sensor booster module and load it with ECCM script it will have the effect of reducing your ship signature and make it harder for this to happen.

Unfortunately, there is no way to reduce signature radius - and there is no such thing as a stealth coating for your ship (CCP please add). :) But, you can keep your signature radius by avoiding modules which will increase it. Such as shield tanking modules, rigs, and inertial stabilisers. MWD also do this, but, you should still fit one because it will help you run away. Any unutilised rigs, module slots, CPU, or powergrid on your ship is wasted potential.
