Here's the details of the 6 month sub...

6 MONTHS
$11.95/mo
$71.70 total

You save $18.00

~~~
That's in US dollars, so would it cost me about $95 in Aussie? Or is there some other fee that is involved?
Thank you.
Dollarooooos, is the official currency.
For those not familiar with international economics, I can buy 60 cans of full strength beer for the price of 6 months of EVE.
I hope the universal currency of beer helps people understand the opportunity cost etc.
Now that I know I won't be charged surprising extra charges, all I have to do is factor in how much time I might have available to play, mix in my normal AFK playstyle, subtract what Alpha lets me do, think about whether I would prefer to get drunk once a month, add in the possibility of CCP having a special on subscription prices in the near future, consider the possibility of any new games coming out in the near future.
Collect all the data for the variables, start up a spreadsheet, create some sort of equation (differential? I keep forgetting the different types of equations.)
It will be fun just considering the purchase of EVE, and in some ways it will be just like playing EVE.
:)
Depends on your bank.
St George were charging me a $9 international transaction fee each subscription, but since changing to Bendigo, I only get charged $1.50 for that.
