I am sure this has been asked a gazillion times but I'd like to see some replies now. THANKS!

Interdictors. (usually a Sabre but I can fly them all)

Despite being able to fly nearly all sub caps, I fly Dictors more than all other ships combined.

For one, they are the single most useful ship in null sec. No matter what kind of fleet it is, it won't be undocking without at least one Dictor.

They are simply a blast to fly. Small and fast, favoring manual piloting and working independent of the main body of the fleet. I usually scout ahead, sometimes act as bait, sometimes cover a withdrawl. They used to be a suicide ship, and mostly still are- but CCP gave them some love not long ago and I've even managed to come home in one once or twice.

Seconding Alaric, either interdictors or heavy interdictor.

Presumably talking about favourite solo PVP combat ship I guess.

Which I don't do if I can help it... so I tend to go for interceptor or Astero where possible.
Other times I'll just have to opt for being as awkward a target as possible.

Having said that, perhaps I should play with an interdictor. Or bombers.

Venture. Cheap, expendable, and doesn't need to survive long to make some cash. (I mine, so when I get into a fight, I just send my drones after them and gtfo with my cargo. If I have nothing worthwhile, I'll let them blow me up. For the insurance. Basically, the true correct answer would be n/a; I don't pvp, as only Alphas at the top of their game can survive off it. And none of them can beat an Omega, assuming no one makes an error.)

In terms of what I like to fly:

1. Vexor Navy Issue: dual rep solo pvp goodness. Packs a punch and good defence
2. Hecate: Lets me go into fights outnumbered and instawarp out of recon traps in medium plexes. Great repping power and face melting DPS
3. Stratios: Because I like to be a cloaky bastard that can apply damage at range

In terms of what my killboard shows:

Top 5 most killing ships (last 1000 kills):

123 Vexor Navy Issue
108 Tristan
95 Hecate
84 Confessor
83 Ishtar

Top 5 most losing ships (last 200 losses):

24 Hecate
22 Tristan
21 Capsule
19 Vexor Navy Issue
12 Confessor

Interestingly, the Stratios is only #26 on the list of ships I get the most kills in and #20 on my most losses, so I don't seem to fly it as often as I thought in pvp, compared to other ships

It was a Stratios until it got boinked by a Legion, the finishing touches are about to be applied to my cloaky Legion and we'll see how long it takes me to lose this one.

Forum Rep for a bunch of characters, couple corps and one seriously Lost In Space multiboxer.

blinged out Onyx - Cost a bit over a billion but they can tank a medium sized gang, scram to 40k, do 500dps to anything in game with RLs, pop a bubble, look sexy and you can even throw a 500mn mwd on them putting out 7.5 k m/s.

Cool tactic to catch pesky kiters go out to about 115 km while everyones being kited, hit mwd approach often the kiter will be paying attention to ships in closer once you hit 60k in 2.5 secs youll be in range for scram, target lock scram, pop bubble which will drop your mass and stop you overshooting dead kiter.

Got a number of very expensive Ortrus, Gila with them.

That was moi answer, I think the dank creepy old man should go back to handing out ciggies and sweets at the park. Move along old man smell.

Now as moi was saying the Cat is THE ganker ship. Anyone with a community college degree from UCLA or UWS would know this to be true.

I have a PhD in Womyns studies which makes me THE go to authority on everythink. Now go gank yourself, I do reg.

I see we are living in imagination land again.....

- Not enough PG for a 500mn MWD + 4xRL Launchers + 2x Warp Disruption Field Generator (Not even without Shield extenders or ASB) - Even with 2xACR II you are still missing 6% PG without fitting anything else and you will need all lows to fit BCUs to get at least close to the DPS numbers you list here.

- Even with 4 Faction BCUs, you will not get more than 450 dps with faction missiles and that value is already taking heat into account. (You have to fit 2 Warp disruption field generators the way you describe, how you use them).

- 7.7Km/s at best with High Grade Snakes, overheated Officer MWD (7.2Km / s with a Core X-type MWD, but that would need more PG again than the lowest PG Officer MWDs)

- 60km + 40 KM = 100KM.. your target is still 15 KM out of scram range (granted by the time you have the target locked you might be in range if he does nothing to keep you from closing in very fast)

- covering 60 KM at 7.7 Km/s takes around 7,8 seconds, not 2.5 (and that is already assuming you are on full speed in the targets direction right from the start)

So I am gonna say: once again you are trying to spread lies. But feel free to post your fitting to convince me otherwise.

On the topic itself:

I don´t really have a favorite ship, there are too many ships that are fun to fly. I can at best narrow it down a bit :).

Neut-Legion, Curse, Armageddon, Bhaalgorn, Phobos for small scale stuff. (Because I love Neuts)

Broadsword / Devoter, Scimitar / Guardian for larger scale battles. (Because DPS ships in large fleet battles are boring)

Black Ops because I love being a cloaky ******.

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.
