Character selection screen not fully loading and can't select characte

Hello,
Last night I was able to play eve just fine, but come this morning, I can't even log in. When I launch eve, I get the following screen:

No details load, and when I click characters I am unable to login. Nothing happens. How do I fix this, or is it a server-side CCP issue?

I noticed an "Omega Orange" glow around the skill queue bar... I am an omega clone, but I'm only training drones V which is an alpha skill.

Any help is much appreciated!

I solved the problem by: opening the launcher, then Settings > Shared Cache > Verify and then restarting the game and launcher.

I also had this problem and can confirm that this fix worked for me.
