I met The Pitboss when he was running the Orphanage. If you haven't heard of them, they were THE merc corp in high sec for a while.

I haven't seen him on in years, but he had a good reputation. He runs a tight ship. He will happily boot anyone who doesn't follow the posted etiquette.

Looks like a useful service to me, both for mercs and customers. He has the credibility to pull it off, IMO. +1

I endorse this long standing product and/or service. Can confirm people banned from channel for breaking rules. If you have a problem contact a channel mod they are usually pretty good with banning/dealing with issues that arise

I think you are taking this a bit too seriously (PL - go figure). It's just a message board where both sides of the contract business can make contact. If a merc wants to benefit, they join on and follow the rules. There aren't any consequences beyond being removed from the service for not following the rules.

I think the bigger question is why would a merc outfit join and then break the rules?

Ignore or use the service (simple). 2009 or so, this was THE place to do merc business. The guy took a break and now he's back trying to enjoy the game. Kicking him in the nutz will just make your leg tired and maybe your foot will get a little sore.

Can I hire you to take out who ever is ganking the forums? Sometimes when I lock a thread I get the WE WERE GANKED message and someone needs to deal with those gankers.

I feel there is a sufficient amount of i's stating breaking the rules should get an entity removed.

Therefore I have another question for The Pitboss,

So to boil down all the distracting hubbub - someone thinks VMG sux. They are trying to strong arm pitboss into e-siding w/ them by whining about rules and bans. If you really want friends, buy a round of drinks like everyone else.

I think you'll find that (on this forum at least) pitboss' 6 year old reputation can't be soiled so easily. Honestly the whole VMG pissandwhine thread burned out long ago due to lack of interest. A lot of folks thought what they did was justified/crappy (you pick) and weighed in on it. That ship sailed. We've moved on.


I don't think it's reasonable to chest up on a guy for not banning VMG for something they did while he was on an eve break. I can't imagine any merc outfit has a clean record. It's just not a clean business to begin with.
