Can and should I RP as a Guristas loyalist?

I was wondering if there were any Guristas about that RP and pirate. I thought about taking to the low sec w/ bpos of simple frigs/cruisers/bcs, shield missiles probably, and just going around trying to pirate anything and everything, and always trying to convo/rp first. Anything I destroy would be crushed and recycled back to the station for the purpose of making the same modules again. Would that be doable, are there corps that do this, etc.? I love criticism.

you could do whatever you want and i'm sure there are corps that do this.

but i won't convo up any targets before engaging or you'll never catch anybody or you'll end up outnumbered/ganked.

There are certainly pirate corporations. For what you describe, the usual approach seems to be to attack the victim, trap them to the point of certain death and then demand a ransom. Some will always honour this ransom and let the victim go, others just destroy them anyway.

Once the victim is helpless, then you can convo and role play if you wish. As Nat says, do it before and they will escape. Do it too long, and their friends may come.

As for Guristas, I only know of one regular RPer who represents them. If you visit the in character forum here, the Intergalactic Summit (IGS) you will find some kindred spirits. There is a website for RP at Backstage, and on checking, I note there is a newly formed corporation announced there for Guristas RP, so you may be in luck.
