Perfect drone skills?

^ as above. Seems to me , upon studying the text of each skill, all of them apply for perfect drone skills.

Thoughts?

All of the support skills are useful. I have yet to train Advanced Drone Avionics to level 5. 3 weeks to extend my control range by 3Km simply isn't worth it to me - yet!

All useful. Anything with "fighter" in the name won't apply to normal drones.

Otherwise I'm maxed (including specs to 5). No regrets.

I respec'ed to Mem/Per for this, ugh, was totally not worth it. Should've stayed with a balanced Per/Int because I needed to train some support skills after getting my drone skills done.

Perfect drones skills are common for:

* Drone specialists
* Characters with nothing else to train that is more important

Example: I'm currently training all drone skills to 5 after specing MEM > PER (nothing else to train), and have a drone specialist alt. Note that alt has never respec'd: 23i 21m 21p 17w 17c

I worked out that you can train pretty much every drone skill with +5s and a perfect map in about a year (Excluding I think Heavy Fighters 5 and some of the Mining drone skills to 5) .So if you want every drone skill to 5 then a remap is fine.

About 90% of the ships in EVE can use drones. This makes them a pretty universal item in my opinion. Combat drones are additional DPS and I have always felt that DPS is a primary goal for a combat ship. I can't think of any pilot that ever said "I wish I had not wasted time training drones"

If I recall; You can get real good drones at about 4.2 million SP. That would be all of the support skills at V and T2 Medium and Light Drones. Racial Drone Specs at IV. (It might include Heavies at V, I cannot remember)

Drones train at around 2200 with +4's and either Int/Mem, or Perc/Will remaps. That's not a bad training time for a *less than perfect* remap.
2 to 3 months will get you great drones at IV's.
