Hi. I was wondering if anyone knew of any hauling services that are hiring and don't require a jump freighter. I've looked into Red Frog and PushX, but they seem to require you to use a jump freighter which I do not have. Thanks.

Try alliance and corp recruitment or market discussion.

Okay. I wasn't sure which section to put this in.

Red Frog don't require a jump freighter capable pilot. It helps if you later on want to also courier contracts for blue frog and black frog, but you aren't initially allowed that anyway.

The minimum requirements are here:

Current wait list is just over a month.

Doesn't seem to say anything about needing a JF for red frog https://sites.google.com/site/redfrogrecruiting/prerequisites-for-pilots

Oh. I didn't see that. Thanks. Although, another problem is that I can't get a ship that can hold 845,000 m3 of cargo. I have an Alpha account.

Well, that settles it. According to the page linked above you need 2 paid (Omega) accounts.

As an alpha, best bet is to be an independent space trucker (but learn how to survive first).

Join the in game channel:

"Haulers Channel" (might be "Hauler's Channel")

You'll pick up contracts easily in there.

just hang out in the haulers channel. occasionally there will be a contract you can do. However, be prepared for large collateral costs.

spy all you want, that's what collateral is for.

I'd probably avoid hauling then. anything you can haul will either be too low value to be worth it, or high value to the point that you get ganked and lose the collateral. You will be better off looking for station to station trades. Heck even as an omega you are probably better off avoiding hauling. Running around all over the place in a big ole slow ship for a few mil per jump just doesn't seem like a good pursuit.

OP just a precaution/reminder, as i see alot of complains against it, don't accept hauling contracts to citadels. people are reporting that citadel owners, after accepting their contract, can block access to you making it impossible to complete the job and of course losing the collateral.

in case you didn't know. :)
