Yep. Thats why im asking. In the last years we always had something to look forward to: Capital rebalance, new POS system, removal of OGB, etc. The ToDo list of CCP seemed endless. But now? The only thing on the roadmap are drilling platforms. Its weird to not have a long list of future feautures, changes and plans.

You know I remember back in 2011 when they were going to introduce the full-scale version of what Incarna was meant to be and people got really pissy and held riots in Jita. If some of this playerbase has made any kind of statement over the years, it's that they don't want anything new. So we, instead, got reiterations of old content with new shiny wrapping, some admittedly cool things but look at it now. Redoing little things, talking about playermade stargates, which is cool.

But the amount and scope of content that could have gone alongside all of that with being able to actually meet people pixelface to pixelface, yeah, I don't think this thread would exist.

Change is scary, though

they're not done with citadels yet. atleast allow them to complete and fix the citadels before asking for more...

I really have a bad feeling about this. CCP becomes more and more secretive about their future vision. All those very controversial features, the whole SP extraction and free2play basically came out of nothing with the bulk of the stuff already implemented even before the CSM was informed of it.

Now they still have people in their offices and I am sure they are working on something. What is the next controversial change they don't want us to know about until they release it?

You remember that wrong.

The Riots weren't about WiS/Incarna, they were about the failure of WiS, the use of EVE money and resources on WOD while EVE needed a lot of work and the "get fcked" attitude we got from CCP.

We also didn't say we didn't want new things, we said "fix current problems first (as there were many issues with basic stuff in EVE) before embarking on yet another badly managed Jesus feature project".

These days EVE is a in a good state and new projects are much better managed and handled, it's a smooth ride compared to ~2011.

I imagine they are working pretty hard on the NPE.

As for what else lies ahead; probably something involving micro-transaction unfortunately so it can be siphoned off into doomed projects (given CCP's track record so far).

I'd still love to see custom corporation / alliance schemes for ships. The SKIN system is really unsatisfactory as they don't have any value or meaning to them.

Yes, i can allready hear u think, HAS HE GONE MAD??? But no.

Imagine a new hi sec pocket at the other side of a large low/nullsec area, i bet you enough people will try to cross it to get there and mebbe even back again.

You might be on to something. I wouldn't say HS at the other end of the universe but maybe something else. Another type of space that would have something so crazy, you couldn't stay away...
