Just kidding. Good topic, you are pretty much right on the money. I have paid many Billions in wardec fees to get decs on people who have posted in C+P. If I didnt like their tone? PFFT Heres 500 M to 0rphanage, thanks and good day! You are whining/ship toasting/crapping up my thread? Heres 700 M on 2 wardec against your whole alliance. I'll be mailing your ceo and telling him why your 500 man alliance shouldnt go to through Jita for a week or two.

In fact I am paying for wardecs against corps of two people from the incursion thread that is active now. Not for being stupid, but for being stupid and posting 10+ times with moronic drivel. Of course I give the CEO/Alliance directors a heads up as to why they getting decced.

I have killed quite a few guys myself for whining in here. First one was some guy who cried about losing Covetors in lowsec. His were some of my very first tears to extract, years ago. I have seen guys post about evil corp thieves then joined their corp to see if I could get lucky myself with some roles. (Really I just need to anchor a small pos for my BPO reaserch)

Conversely, I have gotten great intel, offers and made freinds as people contacted me directly about something I have said in their posts/my posts. For myself, I have nothing to lose and much to gain by using the D3 brand. Since everyone knows I am a douchebag and we get constant wardecs anyway, and as an alliance are known for ship toasting and trolling, most of Bricks dont bother with alts. Although sometimes I wish they would......

People who post as alt's or NPC'ed typically are viewed as cowards...because they are immune to war dec and direct attacks in some shape form or fashion.

Which means they can only be hunted down by suicide gank (as the majority of them live in high sec as they will never undock hence the reason its offensive.).

Those who do such things (posting as an alt) often do so with the intent of evading repercussions for what they are saying...and blatantly boldly hide under a rock which makes them all the more guiltier.

In short...posting with your "main" or at least "one of them" means your not afraid to take whatever they are going to throw at you.

It's also the respectful thing to do...consequence or not.

It would have been my main toon name *if* I'd thought of it back when i started playing... Oops

(honestly after all these years I was pretty amazed the name wasn't already taken when I did think of it)

As it stands, I played for many years without once bothering to log in to the "spacebook" portion of EVE...indeed for my first year and a half in game I honestly didn't even realize that EVE *HAD* an official forum section........and when i finally did get around to it here I figured I'd just go ahead and keep it entirely separate from my toon who actually plays the game.... Blink
