Are assets blocked forever if citadel access is revoked?

What happens if I have stuff in a citadel or complex and suddenly the owner decides to revoke my access? Can I get them to asset safety or will they remain in there forever? What about jobs under progress?

It will go into Asset Safety, and after a period of time you have the access to have Interbus move it for you.

You can manually invoke asset safety and get them transferred:

Quote:
When the Asset Safety is triggered by a character, the content of his Item Hangar and Ship Hangar will be evacuated. When it is triggered by a corporation, the content of the various Hangars of the Corporation Hangar will be evacuated.

To trigger the Asset Safety, right click on the name of the station in your Assets window, and selection the Asset Safety option at the bottom. This option will not show if you are docked at the station. As you can guess, it can only be done station-wide for your assets.

The evacuated items end up in a big "Item Wrap" visible in a new tab called "Asset Safety" in the Asset window. The wrap also indicates the name of the Citadel it originates from, and, in the case of a Corporation Hangar wrap, it will internally preserve the various Corporation Divisions of said Corporation Hangar.

After 5 days, it is possible to tell the wrap that it must be delivered to another Citadel / NPC Station / Outpost within the same solar system. This transfer is free.

After 20 days, if the previous option hasn't been used (willingly or not, for instance due to a lack of destination within the solar system for your wrap), the wrap is then automatically transfered to the nearest NPC station (by AU or ly). Not all NPC stations are eligible in every situation:

Jobs in progress, my understanding which may be wrong on this is that the jobs will continue and finish unless the owner also stops the fuelling of the production module, this will hold that job in stasis until he refuels the module or the structure is destroyed or un-anchored. You will lose all the materials if you cancel the job, etc. but the BPO will be dropped back in your hanger and you can apply asset safety.

Using a third party EA has a significant risk in terms of material loss and to be honest I would not use a third party EA unless I knew the person well or it was someone who was doing this as a business with a long term proven track record. Another factor is that the person who owns the EA does not know what is being produced and the time it takes so there has been honest mistakes, in that case you should try to speak to the person, though of course that has risks because they could blackmail you and you have no control over them actually sticking fuel in the damn thing.

This is an excellent guide, but missing a few things:

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.
