Blended Wormholes and Deployable Stabilizers

A special class wormhole (72-168 hour) where several or more parts of the fabric of space have folded to a point and are in flux.

Wormhole navigation via rhythm game:
There is a primary connection and ancillary connections that are denoted by light pulses and sound cues (*a skill, temporal perception, increases the client side perception of this pattern).

Entering the wormhole on the primary rhythm pulses will pull the player through the primary connection. Primary connection travel poses no danger to ship.

However, entering WH on downbeat will pull player through an ancillary connection and has 25% chance to rip active ship apart in transit. (*a skill, singularity stabilization, can decrease the chance of catastrophic ship destruction in transit through ancillary connection).

Deployable Stabilizers and Chaotic Flux:
Structures with HP of mobile large warp disruptor. No reinforcement.
Deployed structure increases stability of primary WH connection (i.e. longer window on light pulse and sound cue).

Destruction of structure throws blended wormhole into state of flux for 12 hours. This creates a more complex rhythm pattern and increases the possibility of catastrophic ship destruction when pulled into ancillary connections by incorrect timing of the rhythm game.

so like is this in addition to current WHs? because if it is i like the idea would be nice to add something new to wh exploration. if it replaces current whs then no. also you can't use sound queues for something like this. there are a lot of deaf players both physically and technologically

Yes, this would be an addition to current wormholes, not a replacement.

Light and sound cues would correspond to the same primary beats. A player could use either one or the other to gauge the timing for entrance to safe primary connections.

how does the skill increase the perception of this pattern and is a skill for that even needed rather than it just being something the player learns?

Unless you plant a basket with a blanket 50 billion isk transfer upon opening said basket, nobody will want to go there.

Interesting idea. Ships having a random chance of being torn asunder, though, induces mixed feelings I may or may not divulge when I get them sorted out. But the single wormhole alternating between destinations sure is interesting.

I'd imagine it being something like that PI skill that changes the resolution of resource scans. Whatever graphic indicates the current wh-flux conditions would become sharper/more pronounced.

Why? What's in them? What's the added reward that comes with them? Shouldn't we improve current WHs before adding new ones?

How do you play a timing game on a 1Hz server tick over the internet without making it client side and therefore hackable.
