I was online, and then my monitor bugged so I had to hard reboot my PC (while Eve was open), and I got this problem.

I reinstalled the launcher, and tried the repair tool, but still no luck...

Try going to Settings, Shared Cache Settings and run Verify. If that doesn't help, try the Fix permissions from the same dialog.

If that still doesn't help, open up the shared cache folder. You can do that from the E menu, Find in Explorer, Shared Cache. Delete the tq folder and restart the launcher, let it rebuild the folder from scratch. Don't worry, settings are not stored in there.

I'm actually running into this myself when trying to launch the game. Tried everything suggested, when I open up the Shared Cache option in the launcher the Verify button is grey'd out. Tried deleting the shared cache TQ folder, relaunched the launcher and got "Error! See log for details". No idea on what log it's telling me to look at.

So, I'm at a loss...

E menu, Show in Explorer, Launcher Logs...

If you have test servers enabled the Verify button is disabled until those have finished downloading as well. You can disable them in Settings.

Thank you, verifying the shared cache right now. I'll check the logs here in a bit. Thanks for the prompt reply.

UPDATE: After verifying the cache, it all works well now. Thank you again.

Ive run into this issue as well, Ive run permissions, verified cache and tried deleting the tq folder all to no avail. I then uninstalled and reinstalled the game and I still get the same error. This is on a pc not mac so many other boards didnt apply. Not sure what to do next as Ive done everything I could find and nothing worked.

The wierd part was that I was playing, then the sockets closed for no reason then I have been unable to log in or do anything since about 0900 1/13/2017 eve time, so it wasnt an client downtime thing....

Tried all the suggested fixes.....the launcher is not downloading the tq file when it starts.

Also, there is a message at the bottom of the launcher which reads " Version info not available"

The option to verify files is disabled even with test servers disabled, and the is a message which reads. " some indices were not available"
