Mixing Dual 180mm + 220mm Vulcans on pvp sleipner fit?

#1 - 2017-01-15 00:34:15 UTC
Is it viable to mix autocannon types on a sleipner pvp fit? I don't have the powergrid to fit a full rack of 220mm Vulcans, but I do have enough grid to fit 3x 220m Vulcans and 2x Dual 180mm.

Is there any reason not to do this? Since the weapon types are highly similar and will function for the same purpose.

You can't group them as a single unit. Not a terrible thing, but worth a mention.

Post your fit and I bet someone will help improve it.

Maybe an implant or another level of skill will help. Rigging skills? or Engineering?
Maybe post an EveBoard link as well.

For 180 and 220mm Autos it will make very little difference other than many more reloads to worry about and 2 sets to look after.

Their range and tracking are pretty similar and they use the same ammo, Alpha also does no matter. Its normally a bad idea to mix weapons that are vastly different/require different tactic to use. IE mixing Short and long range / missiles and guns/ High and low Alpha.
