It would be nice if we could pay PI customs tax from a corporate wallet.
It would be really really cool if we could import and export from a corporate owned container. (thus sharing imports and exports.)

Sigh. If we're not getting an overhaul this would be nice. I spend more time shuffling corp money around than I'd like to admit just to pay for my own PI.

Personally, I would love to have hangar and wallet shared between characters on the same account. That would go a long way to easing the PI frustrations and would certainly make my life easier, I'm less confident it would make the game better. There would be less incentive to create ALT corps but the game needs problems to be solved. If it's too easy, everyone will do it and no one will make a profit!

We have alts to trade with, cyno alts, scanning alts, low/nul/high/worm hole alts, boosting alta, remote repping alts, I could go on for days listing all of the reasons we have alts but let us just be real here and admit that alts have dominated this game to the point where there is no longer an option, alts are essentially a required part of the game so please tell me what difference this would make and why it would be bad for the game?

Also I find it hysterical, we often see ideas posted by the PvP(traditional shoot other players) side of the game that would make using alts easier and many of those are heralded as marvelous things that would make the game better, and yet when someone asks for a change that would make working with alts in the industrial side of the game easier it is magically a very bad thing.

Back to the OP I would be OK with this but I would prefer a new corp hanger and wallet division be set up in game specifically for PI, that would better suit my needs.

like i said no need to encourage more alts

and what on the pvp side are you talking about i seem to recall a rather extensive change made to pvp with one of its biggest goals being to make alts harder to use

Is there some way to get more than 3 toons per account? Do you think many paying players aren't already using all three?

If it encourages more PI alts... that would be good. For PI you need to be omega and that's more money to keep the game running... because nearly everyone is already using all of their alt slots. I'm pretty sure everyone at CCP wants every player to have as many paying accounts as possible.

You seem fine with encouraging more alts here:

Why always so negative (and inconsistent)? Suggestions have workarounds, sure. Doesn't mean workarounds are what everyone should just always do and with this suggestion, it isn't about encouraging alts. It seems to be about encouraging cooperative play. Alts are just a natural part of EVE, so what?

that is not adding something to encourage alts. that is not adding something to fully remove risk
