I've been playing about with WINE registry settings, Xorg config files, and so on, trying to determine if there is anything I can change that will improve FPS in EVE.

So far, I have not found anything in the registry or the Xorg setting which improves EVE fps.

The only noticable performance improvement is to use gallium-nine, which is almost mandatory - provided your drivers support it. RIP Nvidia users - only AMD has decent open-source drivers.

CSMT is also good, but not on a cpu-bound system like mine. If you've got plenty of spare CPU it can give an excellent frame rate improvement though. Works with Nvidia closed-source drivers too.

Post in this thread any tweaks you have found to improve EVE FPS, or decrease hardware usage (ie, same FPS but much less cpu/gpu usage).
