I am a new a new player and have been playing for 3 days. I am in the "tutorial with Aura and after she tells me to navigate to the Titan wreck, and I do, she will not move on and tell me what to do next. I have reset 5 times and it still does not work. What should I do? I am running macOS Sierra.

I submitted a ticket and all the GM did was roll the tutorial back with no avail. I let her know that (GM Zyra) but she has not responded. I'm stumped and aggravated. Please help if you know what's going on or this has happened to you.

Double clicking in space only works when I click on things with little circles next to the, and I did approach the Titan wreck by clicking its little circle and then getting the pie menu and clicking Approach. I have also tried to orbit the Titan wreck and that didn't wok either. You can't just click anywhere in space and move, I've tried it a gazillion times in three days.

Thanks!

If Aura is asking you to manually pilot you must double click in space (i.e. not on any object) in the direction in which you want to move.

Am I on the wrong screen when I navigate? I zoom out and I see the green silhouette of a planet. and I zoom in and see my ship, should I be doing something else or on another screen?

I created a new character and took it through the new player experience after reading the comments, and questions posed in this sub-forum.

I had the same difficulties as the op, and had to reset the tutorial more than once. (Actually, pretty often.)

What I discovered from all the resetting was this: I was not allowing enough time for the tutorial programming to reset. Many times it took longer, than I anticipated, and in my "wisdom" I decided more "interaction", i.e. "mouse clicking" was called for. This just seemed to compound the delay.

Once I figured out I had to "wait", it was much easier.

I am not saying this is the case here, only that it might be.

Make sure you have selected "look at my ship" in the right-click menu. Then rotate your camera view until you can see the Titan wreck beyond your ship. To move towards it, just double click in space somewhere close to it but, to stress once again, not actually on it.

If that doesn't work, try varying the timing of your double click - I have found that the EVE client can be a bit fussy over this.

Actually, the titan doesn't matter. Try:

1. Double-click the empty space in any direction to get your ship moving.
2. Wait 3 seconds.
3. Ctrl-space to make your ship stop.

Aura wants you to move your ship by double-clicking in space, then stop your ship. If the double-clicking empty space doesn't work, try to set your speed to max and then to 0 at the bottom of the HUD circle.
