Astero and faction bonuses

I'm looking at the Astero for exploring and it says it has a Gallente and Amarr Frigate bonus. I know I can train Gallente and Amarr frigate skills but will I get those bonuses if I'm Caldari?

Your race has no bearing on the skill bonuses you gain from training Ship Command skills. Alphas are restricted only to their racial ship line, but as an Omega you can fly any ship, including Pirate Faction ships.

As long as you train both Gallente and Amarr frigate skills, you will get all the hull bonuses from your Astero.

If you are a paying/PLEXing subscriber...

- your character's race will not confer any special bonus or penalty for any skill or ship you train

- you can train any skill, weapon, and/or ship without any penalty or "level cap"



In general... as long as you have the relevant skills to pilot a ship, you are also getting bonuses for it.
