Concord Ships - Player Flown

CCP,

At EVE Vegas this year, you spoke about giving the players Concord Ships to fly... I was super excited as most of the people in the crowd was.

You spoke about Fan Fest and another way of getting the ships? Care to enlighten us on the other way please?

At every Fan Fest CCP always reveals a sneak peek of some great content they plan to incorporate into the game. And with that sneak peek they always say 'Soon'.

Course nobody can actually say when 'Soon' will happen. However you can bet it'll be years before the topic is revisited again.

The only other way we currently know about as players is, on the market after people who buy Fanfest tickets get them.

Should be a pretty penny too.

Well, it's only 3-4 months away, but all the 'CONCORD tech' has been removed.

The Marshall is for attendees of both Eve Vegas and Fanfest. The other two, for all Fanfest ticket holders.

Well, CONCORD will be doing the CONCORDing, silly.

Also, in before people complain that the Marshal can't one-shot Titans and doesn't sport Chuck Norris level tank. I'm calling it...we all know good and well they'll have very basic, unimpressive stats yet ISD will still have to lock dozens of threads once they hit TQ.

They have already announced they are giving away the Concord Cruiser and Frigate for EVE Fan Fest and EVE Vegas 2017. The big promised by CCP Guard was there would another for players to obtain these other than attending the events themselves.

So, whichever DEV is monitoring the forums, find the others DEV's and get the question answered please. As I like most of your EVE community will not be at Fan Fest for sure, and still would like the opportunity to get a ship.

Isn't the Echelon technically a CONCORD ship?

Yah its possible, just would like to hear them say it also. The other reason I am asking is "What if you can't make it to a event?" , then how do you get the ships?

What if you buy a ticket for fanfest or any event with plex, not sure if u still can or not you used to, but dont go to the event can you still get the ship?

As for all the rest I would assume the alternative way to get them would be to buy them off a player on market after they go live to others and are redeemable in game. And if CCP is true to form the redeemable ones will be the sole way of getting or having them for a while and then in a few months theyll likely make a way to buy them, likely in the NES Store for Aur Id imagine or as a plex reward like some of the limited edition skins have been.

And these things better be glorified shuttles or else Ill be hopping angry. They should have zero offensive capabilities or slots. At best it might be like the yachts but even thats pushing it imo.
