Hey,

I have been playing about with the advanced audio setting sliders, trying to figure what is what etc.

I had a issue with the sound effect of cloaking and de cloaking being way to loud when I have the sound on max and running through 400 watt external speakers, took a while to find, but that cloaking sound effect is in the modules audio setting. I had that on max as I like the sounds from active armor/shield hardeners and repairers, as well as salvagers and tractor beams.

Any chance you can move it to a separate slider? Or turn it down a touch?

I know technically it is a a module, but it seems a shame the other cool module sounds are linked with this one sound that happens to be louder than all the rest. It's not that its a bad sound, just too loud in comparison with it's contemporaries.

Also what happened to the old sound effects for armor hardeners and repairers? My ears are really missing the Wou-Wouu and WWWEEeeeeooouuuu sounds. They disappeared for a bit, then they came back when you revamped the visual effects, but they are not as good or as distinct.

The rep effect only works when repairing damage, that makes sense, but does it need to make sense? It was just nice knowing it was running without having to look at the button, and It's too quiet now.

The active hardener has the same sound effect as the inferno reactive hardener and it's just not as rhythmical as the old effect, and dare I say it... ...as pleasant to hear. A bit too "digital cricket" if you get me.

Flying often cloaky ships, I agree that between the sounds of shields hardeners for example and the decloaking effect, there's too much difference in volume, I'd prefer the de-cloaking /cloaking towning down a fair bit.

In the name of Jirai 'Fatal' Laitanen : “Some capsuleers claim that ECM is 'dishonorable' and 'unfair'. Jam those ones first, and kill them last.”

Not since aura died and they stated using her corps as a puppet. But if you ever need to know if you are in range to execute that function just flip the sound back on
