You mean that all these years you have not been paid a single iota of fake internet space money?

And if it isn't, it's your job to make it a trap...:)

I'm also appalled...especially since James 315 just proclaimed that 1,105 Trillion in shares have been sold.
What good is a New World Order if it's build on the broken and flayed backs of the working class?
You should form a Gankers' Labour Union to push your interests and give each Code agent a living wage.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

I should perhaps make it clear that, although I've never received an iota from James 315 for my years of service, It is my position as a 'CODE flunkey' of independent means which has allowed that situation to arise.

I could if I wished use James' generous SRP (total currently standing at ~70 billion Isk) to offset the cost of the tools of my trade, but there are brothers and sisters in the Movement whose need, I've determined, is greater than my own.

My SoundCloud contributions occasionally attract donations from well-wishers (and the bemused but speculative). The equipment and software used in producing those items of education and entertainment is otherwise funded wholly by me.

Sorry for my absence, Sunday with the family is an all day affair.

I think I am being accused of posting like Holy, whoever that is. I won't bother to assure you of my innocence, as I am comfortable living under the "burden of proof on the accuser" system. Lol

So it looks like watchlists and buddy lists and locator agents are useless if someone really wants to hide. To me this seems counterintuitive for a game that claims we have to make decisions based on our interactions with the rest of the community. Why bother chasing ghosts?

I know where my target keeps a citadel, and I was wondering what happens to it if he does not visit it for long periods of time. Do citadels stay online forever, or is maintenance required for continued operation.

Also, If anyone can point me to any information still in existence on the Band of Brothers alliance, I would be greatful.

Hi Red, in your absence the thread was hijacked, and it was to the hijacker that Ralph referred, not to you.

http://eve.wikia.com/wiki/Band_of_Brothers

tl;dr: they were the first real superpower in EVE and widely hated.
People rejoiced when they fell.
Pretty much every major nullsec alliance has since been accused on occasion of being "just like BoB".

Those who can, do. Has he done anything?

Well he blabs on and on about what he could do a long time ago... so no, he has really done nothing that I have seen other than cry.

I guess Sasha is right, I will probably be disappointed if I just hire mercs. I am still looking for someone to maybe actively pursue this guy for a week or two for some ISK.

So for now it seems that I will need to join FW or something to make that dank isk Roll so I can afford them.

Here's a little advice for you..take it or leave it.

- As it's been said..if he had the means..he wouldn't say it, he'd do it. Most people just spout bs about their "powerful friends" or "a fleet is coming for you". I typically laugh as I explode their ship.

- Check the C&P forums more merc ads. There are some good merc corps out there depending on what you're looking for. Vendetta, Marmite, Public Enemy..to name a few. They are trustworthy and will bring you results..but results don't come cheap. Shop around.

- chances are the guy will shell up like a turtle and hide if you hire a merc corp to wardec him. 90% of the time the ones with the biggest mouths have the smallest ba...well, you know what I mean. Consider your options first.

- Your best bet for PvP training is to either join one of the corps/alliances named earlier (brave, eve uni, etc) or join faction warfare and go do some damage in low sec. It's the fastest way to learn imo. As for joining a merc corp/alliance, the chances are low you would be accepted into a merc corp/alliance. Most of them want experienced PvPers with 20 mil or more sp. The last thing a merc alliance wants is someone whose hand they have to hold or someone who doesn't know what to do, doesn't understand on the fly coms orders, has to ask questions for rudimentary things, etc. Get some PvP experience under your belt. A green killboard is helpful. You'll have a much greater chance of getting into a merc alliance that way. Make connections too. Who you know is just as important as what you know.

- I wouldn't sweat that guy. He sounds like a scrub. Enjoy the tears and relish them..and when you're ready, pop him like a virgin on prom night.

That's the best advice I can give you. Fly dangerously.

If I had a nickel for every time someone said women don't play eve, I'd have a bag of nickels to whack the next person who said it..

Red,
Citadels are quite destructible. While it's not great entertainment, I could be interested if the timelines worked.

There is a decent chance your target would experience a sensation of disappointment if we did this.

I love a good story and, quite frankly, I'm interested. I bet we could get a couple other participants if we could assemble a coherent plan. Just remember you would be paying for wardecs.

Also, I heartily recommend attempting to infiltrate this individual's corp. BOB collapsed under an infiltration attack. If he is really an old BOB player, I bet he would revel in the nostalgia.

Its very interesting what other miners tell you when someone trying their best to stir up issues with me.
Red Forskin,
1 - Why are you using a alt on forums?
2 - A starter that knows the concept of merc groups?
3 - "Spying on him"

You gone out of your way to troll me because I stood up against your gank group. You were called a Ass in local because you stated your gonna gank me regardless till I quit eve. When you called for your buddy, he ended up showing unprofessional chatter in local and everyone has your group labeled as asses. Once I noticed your spotter was online. I got my combat ship along with a few others and we baited your group. Just remember, It took 3-4 of you to kill 1 person. We took 3 of you with only 2 people. (mostly the reasons why your only now coming around with mass numbers trying to "locate me" when its dead in the middle of the night. After that happen you went out of your way to get attention to aid your cause. You can do whatever you like even say whatever you like to try rising more to your cause.

The BV station was placed up for a video on how stations run(To encourage players viewing the titan fall 2 stream at the time to consider playing EvE Online.) If you want to try and take it then be my guess. It really hasn't been used expect for reprocessing. (basic Citadel) [I'm sure maybe what ..... 40k of megacyte left in it? (sorry I don't keep goods in something that can be a general target.]

Its alright that you don't want to use your main chr name. Form your fake description of your "problem" you hail for the systems high guard group (Local gankers) and you personally are making it your goal to target me. I don't bow to gankers.

As EvE is known for, in-game politics and deception tends to lead to betrayals.
And its not shocking to see your doing everything in your might to try causing me to quit to Resolve your personal issue with me. (My guess your group looking like jerks in the area upset the heck out of you)

I'm Sure all the other corps are atleast agreeing on this concept, you can fold or you can fight.
I choose to fight.
Even if local miners are alts or scared or have paid to your "Permits"
I will refuse to and contiune to mine and enjoy the game.
I'm so sorry your going this far to "try", but Its alright.
As a gamer to another gamer would say.
"GLHF"

PS: I never threaten to go after a newbie, But considering the circumstances. Its cute your using a alt to make your post.
Your effort only proves your angry at me. I never cry, Its not in my personalty. I'm the guy that can constantly get killed and shrug it off. I laugh at it. But I do find it funny when a ganker can justify themselves by saying its for the market and for recruiting. (And what you couldn't handle was. Killing a player to make them your ally......... The logic there is flawed, just because you can be a ass to someone doesn't mean you should. {Just because you can rob a bank doesn't mean you should do it.} And yet you couldn't handle being called ass in local. Heck Others started calling you out and you even got mad and left the system with your tail between your legs.

:)

Fly Safe Everyone.
Its your choice on what the public wants to believe. Slandering someones name because they made a example out of your crew shows how angry you are as a man.
Public can decide what they want to do or what they will do. I will accept the help or the challenge regardless.
Haven't quit the game now, Most likely not gonna quit 3 years down the road.

Hi Codex, welcome to C&P. If this is your first visit, please take some time to familiarise yourself with the culture of the sub-forum, which exists to discuss and revel in matters nefarious.

I note that you're a tad tearful about the Highsec ganking community (tho you not-too-deftly try to deflect our attention away from it). We exist to amuse ourselves, nothing more. By doing so, we bring life and reliably engaging content to the region, which many of us call Home.

If that's your aim too, then Welcome Aboard!

I fear though that you've mistaken the harbour wall for the gang plank, and wildly misplaced your foot.

You see, there's more to garnering respect than blustering aggressively and almost incoherently about the ways in which you know everything, see everything, and can fight everything.

Real combatants build up a reputation and let that speak for them, only primping it now and then as necessity dictates.

I confess, I'd not heard of you before you dropped one in the comments section of the Miner Bumping website. Are you known at all? I mean for battery rather than bellyaching?

No, I thought not. Now, I'd be grateful if you could edit your submission down to, say, Twitter proportions and give us a sense of your main grievance. Without the fluff, without the tears.
