Isn't it time Eve got a way to handle feature requests in a more structured way?

To use a forum for feature requests might work when there are very few users making few requests and suggestion. It is also very difficult to figure out which ideas, suggestions and requests has a broad support.

There are many tools available for this, and which does it in a much more structured way and makes it easy for all involved, whether it is players, developers, designers or someone else, to see which suggestion players stand behind, while also tracking comments, reflections, criticism and analysis of said suggestion.

A great example of an online tool that handles feature requests is UserVoice. A good example of how Microsoft uses UserVoice, is for feedback on XBox (https://xbox.uservoice.com). Notice how they integrate and allow XBox users to login with their live/XBox credentials.

A few key features are...
1. Single Sign-On: Use the same login everywhere.
2. Custom design: Use Eve Online therms, layout and design - No one would even notice they are in fact on the UserVoice site.
3. Custom domain: Create your own domain name for the site (i.e. feedback.eveonline.com) - complete and seamless integration into the Eve Online World.
4. Intuitive GUI: Users will find existing suggestions, feedback and feature request and add to them instead of re-posting the same suggestion a second time.

So basically you want Goons, & PL to be able to form massive organised lobbies and drown everyone else out?

Which suggestions players stand behind is an awful way to gauge anything, judging by the number of threads we get about deleting cloaking, removing highsec pvp, arenas, alphas not being able to fight omegas in badly fit moas, and whatever else people are crying about this week.

Manufacturer tracking for ships and mods. That's the other one that's seeing a huge resurgence.

That and a dozen mostly incoherent ideas about skins.
