How long are mails kept on the API after deleting them?

I sent myself a mail last night to remind myself to try picking up a blueprint today, and deleted it this morning (both trash and delete). As I'm starting to play around with Evemon now, I tried putting mails in there so I could read stuff without logging in, and I was surprised to see that the mail I deleted this morning showed up there when I turned on mail information.

Are they kept for a long time? Was this just a timings caching thing?

You may have to delete the mail in your "deleted" folder.

Yes... "deleted folders" are a thing.

Looks like someone's been a spai/security officer in the past.

Is that a third location? Trash from inbox moves to Trash folder. Delete from Trash folder... moves to a Deleted folder? Where is that even at?

Oh. I deleted it from there. I thought you meant there was some extra folder hiding somewhere. If that's it, then I guess it was just a timing dealie or something. Oh well.

Heh... yeah. Take into account that 3rd party apps may store data on things you no longer have in the game.

The last time I had one of those EVE phone apps it thought I had ships that I very clearly remembered being destroyed.

Did you check your "Sent" folder too ?
