Immortality means you really have to shore up the old retirement account.

If for the rest of your life you could only pilot one hull-type what would it be?

Slicer.

How many siblings do you have?

None, I'm an only child.

If you suddenly discovered that you have a lost sibling somewhere (neutral to you, with no personal or allegiance conflicts), would you prefer a brother or a sister and why? :P

Sister. We will have so many things to discuss! And brothers are boring.

What do you think is the most romantic landscape?

A field of fresh snow. Warm enough to kiss in, cold enough to stick to your clothes and not melt.

Diarrhea or vomiting?

Diarrhea. At least I get to sit, have free hands and do something productive while irritating the janitor.

How did you come up with your questions?

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

Pure whimsy and the occasional inspiration from others.

What's the most hilariously awful thing you've ever seen? You know, the sort of event that you should be horrified at, by instead end up laughing.

That'de be Ria's wardrobe, if it qualifies as an event.

Would you rather live in a capital that you own for the rest of your life, or on the surfacce of a planet? No people in either scenario.

Planet, atleast there would be animals.

While I understand and sympathize with both - when I was a child planetside we had a neidhbour, a baron over 300 years old who was just like Lord Vaari sometimes, and Diana, though deeply traumatized by all the horror we all are forced to endure, is still a loyal soldier of the State - Lord Vaari does not grace every other thread with the presence of a Golden Mountain.

Sorry, Diana.

And, the penultimate question of this thread, so foolishly invoked by Valerie Valate and Arrendis:

Sinful Apples or Noble Oranges?

Nation.

Even if the Covenant swept over everything, sooner or later it'd collapse and plunge us all into another dark age. There's an off chance we might see a second Moral Reforms, and end up with a stable, workable civilization instead.

Nation's depressingly sustainable. I don't ever want to be in a situation where the secret little part of my mind that isn't ever allowed to communicate or influence my actions is praying for a supernova so I can just finally, actually, properly die.

Put another way: I'd rather be dead than taken by either, but with the Covenant it's about how they'd kill me; with Nation, it's about how they wouldn't.

Nah. Then again I'm not a philosopher.

Do you use your neural-link to operate anything that isn't a starship?

Yes. I use it to interface with fully-immersive VR novels. And the coffee-maker on my Nidhoggur. Because nothing is quite as nice as fully-immersive coffee-making.

If Tamiroth's question:

What is love?

You're in a desert walking along in the sand when all of the sudden you look down, and you see a tortoise, it's crawling toward you. You reach down, you flip the tortoise over on it's back. The tortoise lays on it's back, it's belly baking in the hot sun, beating it's legs trying to turn it'self over, but it can't, not without your help. But you're not helping. Why is that?

Because I am curious about the behavior of a flipped-over desert tortoise and wish to observe.

Why am I curious about this in the first place?
