The championship is quite powerful, sure, but the friendship just cynoed in a fleet of his buddies who volleyed him off the field.

Championship and friendship are squared off in a duel. Friendship is winning, or so it seems, as Championship usings RR logi and suddenly the fight is in Championships favor. But wait folks Friendship isnt done quite yet and batphones for backup and they arrive just in time to save Friendships ass!! Hull damage but Friendship is holding up now under Championships barrage of deeps!

Championship reescalates and RR logi refits on a mobile depot and lights a cyno.... Championship capitals reign in and obliterate Friendship and the batphone FTW!!


TheMittani and EveNews do interviews post fight and whaddya know.... Championship IS Friendship and the entire thing was a meta game setup! Mind blown!!ShockedLolTwisted

Well, to be honest, I don't know what any of the terms listed under championship are supposed to mean, so I'll go with the magic manly witchcraft and say friendship would win.

So I did some research, the words for "Championship" all refer to LoL characters.
LoL is where CCP Soundwave and a lot of other CCP employees went.
I can now give you a more precise answer to your question: It depends on where the fight takes place.
If it's within the Captain's Quarters, I'd say the chances are even. If it's anywhere else, friendship will win uncontested, because there's no f*cking way CCP Soundwave's minions could ever open the door and leave their CQ....

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

Championship will win.

So you have just become a champion. You already have friends. Through championship you gain more friends & command a wealth of friends of friends of friends...

So when it comes down to it your Championship has a butterfly effect of friends that can annihilate friendship, even possibly from within.

The champion fights, this is why he/she is a champion.

Friendships sit in a circle decide what & how they are going to do something.

The champion just gets on with it. All the while being cold & calculated in every move. The champion has experience. Though the friends are still bickering about how to do something, when they are getting picked off one by one.


Maybe the friendship with become the champions friend but I wouldn't be surprised if the championship turns around & destroys the friendship...

Because he is the champion...

Championships are for the now. Once gained they are fleeting and represented by a simple trophy on the shelf or a shiny ship in a hanger. Championships give the instant, yet constantly diminishing euphoria of accomplishment which will still leave the victor empty and alone. No matter how many championships, or subsequent ISK you gather, there is always a void left from the shallow victory - no matter how big it may feel in the moment.

Friendship, on the other hand, can be there with you forever. Sure the old saying of 'friendships come and go' can be true, but genuine, grounded friendships look after each other. A true friend will put you above all else. A true friend will even help you to achieve a championship victory and when that fails, they will still be there cheering you on and helping you with your next goal. Even for the self-declared 'loners', there is nothing more healing and rejuvenating than a deep friendship.

The championship is indeed the better ship

HOWEVER

The friendship is by definition more than one ship.

Friendship always comes out on top, for sure. It's the Great Amoeba. Shared hard fights dissolve Championship into mutual respect and GFs. Easy digestion and absorption for Friendship gelatinous cube.

Just stumbled upon this and thought it was relevant to the thread.
Another point to consider is that friendship can be bought, while championship has to be earned.

championship obviously, but I only say that since I'm an angry and broken person whose only friends like me the way they like their coffee, bitter and unattractive until they change some fundamental aspect of who I naturally am.

The Championship has the experience, both within and without, the Championship has has earned its skills the hard way without relying on skill injectors, the Championship knows its statistics on EFT by heart but did not stop there like so many other Ships, instead it applied this knowledge time and again, perfected it, honed it.
Its gunports are red with blood. Some of it his own.

The Friendship lives for the joy of the moment, it does not care about hard facts, instead it just takes whatever knowledge it just needs to get by, it might do one thing one day, another thing the next day or just a single thing forever, it is ultimately just a means to socialize and meet other Friendships.


The Championships´ very nature requires it to be a loner, not only cannot it tolerate others beside itself but that would actually defeat its very purpose; the Friendship on the other hand has others at his call. Likely even more Friendships but there is always room for... surprises.

So, we have a perfectionist loner versus a quantity that has a qualitiy all its own...... can there be truly any doubt about who would win in Eve Online?
